Merzouga Desert
We will pick you up from your Fes hotel in the morning and head to the south of Morocco. Ifrane, which is sometimes called "Switzerland of Morocco," will be our first stop. There, we'll take some great pictures of the city's stunning beauty. After that, we'll drive to Azrou to see Barbary apes in the cedar forest. Then, we'll go to Midelt for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. In the afternoon, our 2-day Desert Tour from Fes to Merzouga goes to Errachidia along the TIZI N TALGHAMT road, stopping at Ziz Valley to take in the views of the Ziz Gorges. Then we'll go through Aoufous and Erfoud, where we'll stop at a local workshop that makes crafts from fossils. After that, we'll keep going to the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi. We ride camels for an hour and a half to enjoy the beautiful scenery at sunset. When we get to our desert camp, we eat a wonderful meal and spend the night in native tents under the stars.
Fez
Today, get up early so you don't miss the sunrise. You can easily walk up the hills from your tent. After breakfast at the camp, we leave for Rissani. The present royal family got its start in this city. If you come on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, you can see a real Moroccan market. After that, we'll take you back to Fes by going through Erfoud and along the Ziz Valley once more. We'll drop you off at your hotel at the end of your 2-day Fes desert trip.

5.00I had the privilege of doing a private tour with Rachid from Touring in Morocco. From entering Morocco, Rachid welcomed us with open arms. He showed us the top spots in Morocco, provided us with tons of history, and recommended AMAZING food places. So amazing that’s I’ve had beef with prunes four times on our trip. 5.00Highly recommend Touring in Morocco! The company and all its people are on time, responsive and trustworthy. We had self-planned a trip to Morocco, but needed 3 days of ground transportation from Fez to Merzouga, then Aït Benhaddou, then Casablanca airport. Youssef from Touring in Morocco was super responsive via WhatsApp, got together a detailed quote quickly, and was extremely flexible as our airline continuously changed our flight, which changed our dates and length of travel. Youssef was able to put together a custom quote, depending on days, but also terrain (including a quote for a 4x4 to use in desert off-roading.) Also, knowing that we had to be at our first destination at a certain time (camels departed at 6pm for the desert!), the company was very good at meeting our needs and exceeding expectations. We had a fabulous time with our driver, Hamid, who was both an excellent driver and a fantastic guide for our experience. He gave us insights, was a great conversation partner, made our trip better by both being flexible and offering suggestions based on our interests and therefore tailoring the trip on the fly. Truly excellent service! Knowing that we were interested in local life and architecture, Hamid allowed us more time in certain places like Aït Benhaddou, and brought us to the Rissani market (as Thursday happened to be a market day along with Sunday). Holding a baby sheep and seeing the height of the dates harvest were definitely memories of a lifetime! The car was a Mercedes Benz minivan, super comfortable, spacious, and we felt safe and in good hands the entire time. The air conditioning was very appreciated during the hot days. We have fallen in love with Morocco, and have vowed to return with our whole family, Inshallah. When we do, Touring in Morocco will be the first company we contact, and Hamid will be the driver we will request!

5.00Would fully recommend 'Touring in Morocco', its always a bit of gamble going with a Tour operator you don't know or aren't familiar, and it was a leap of faith, but it was one of the best decision we made. Before we arrived, we were already in contact by email with Youssef, with queries and questions and he responded promptly everytime. Incredible quality and excellent value, for anyone wishing to experience the whole 'Moroccan experience'. From the moment we were met, the luxurious, spacious air conditioned people carrier, we were spoilt. The pre-agreed itinerary never disappointed. Virtually different hotel accomodations every night - the traditional Moroccan hotels were something else, usually very spacious, ornate, spotlessly clean and the hotel staff were all polite, and helpful, they wouldn't let us carry our cases to or from the car each day. In Tangier we stayed in a Hilton, enjoying luxury and a 13th Floor outside swimming pool. Our highlights were Merzouga, the desert glamping, quad biking and camel rides, and the stay in vibrant and lively Marrakesh, where we hot air ballooned 1000m witnessing a breathtaking sunrise. Todra Gorge was incredible. And then Chefchaouen, The beautiful blue town. All the other places aswell Fez, Tangier, Casablanca and Essouira were fascinating to sample. The tours provided were excellent and provided a great variety of natural places, culture and history. They were timed perfectly, together with allowing us the flexibility to go places, shops and catered for our needs. Special mention to Mohammed our driver for the fortnight, aswell as Hamid our English speaking guide who accompanied us everywhere. These two people are great people, so friendly, trustworthy and helpful, with advice, where to go, what to do and avoid. Words cant convey how easy and enjoyable they made the trip for us. We travel a lot as a family , but this holiday is one of the very best, and using 'Touring In Morocco' - absolutely 10 / 10.

5.00We traveled to Morocco in August with our family (two adults and two teenagers) and relied on this local tour operator: better choice we could not make! From the beginning the organization was impeccable, with a well-thought-out itinerary that allowed us to discover Morocco in all its facets. Our driver, Mustafà, was exceptional: always on time, helpful, attentive and above all a very good driver, who accompanied us with professionalism and sympathy throughout the journey. The riads and hotels selected were beautiful, well-kept and welcoming, and allowed us to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality. The desert experience was unforgettable: spending the night in luxury tents, under an incredible starry sky, was an emotion that we will always carry with us. Even the food was great everywhere, rich in flavors and tradition. In summary, it was a perfect trip from every point of view, which we highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover Morocco in all its beauty and variety. Thanks again to the tour operator and Mustafà for making this experience so special!

5.00A really well organized tour, very beautiful and charming Riads, unforgettable night in a 5-star tent in the desert. Omar first and Ahmid later, the guides with Zahid driver, made us live four wonderful days accompanying us in the heart of the Medina, among the desert dunes, the Atlas (at 2000mt) and the Berber cities to better experience Morocco

5.00We spent 4 days in the south of Morocco, we visited incredible places and breathtaking views. Perfect organization, we had a great time, especially with our friend Said who was really kind and accompanied us to discover the culture and traditions of Morocco, the different riads where we stayed were really nice and comfortable and the typical and delicious dinners. The desert? UNIQUE experience! It is unforgettable to spend the night in the tented camp, where in the evening after sunset everyone gathers around the bonfire to listen to typical Berber music. We are already thinking of returning, this time, to visit the imperial cities in the north of Morocco, and I hope to always do so in companions of the legendary Said! 🤙🏼a greeting from SharBob
