  Francisco, our guide, was fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. The four hour tour was exactly what we wanted to see Guayaquil on our first day. I highly recommend this tour!

  Francisco was an excellent tour guide. My sister and I had a free day in Guayaquil before heading to the Galapagos. We got to see all the highlights of the city. Francisco was very knowledgeable and passionate about his county. Climb the 500 steps in the old town. The view is well worth it. We also stopped to experience some more off the beaten path local specialties. He talked about making chocolate and we got some excellent gelato. We visited a great fresh food market and saw a street lined with vibrant paper mache figures that are created to celebrate the new year. I’d highly recommend this tour.

  My husband and I had a free day before heading out to the Galapagos Islands, so despite all the warnings about safety we received prior to our trip, we decided to see some of what Guayaquil had to offer. Our hotel concierge recommended a private tour with Francisco, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. He was wonderful, showing us all the best sites including a stop at the iguana park, cathedral, Malecon 2000, a cacao shop, Administration Square, and Old Town (where we met with and toured a local artist's atelier). The tour was just the right pace, so we got to really appreciate all we were seeing. Francisco was very knowledgeable and proud of his city. He answered all our questions and made us feel welcome and safe. We highly recommend this tour. Gracias Francisco!!

  Thank you thank you and thank you! to Francisco and Cesar for your strong knowledge of this Beautiful City! I promise you.... If your a future tourist of Guayaquil I'd go no further than this Tour! Extensive history and interactive activities that Francesco gives to you selflessly with such passion and love for the city and its hardworking beautiful people! you'll learn more than you'd expect :) We loved feeding the Iguanas and the lovely ocean breeze at the top of Las Penas! :) you'll have so much fun!   A wonderful tour of the city! We learned about the history and development of Guayaquil, learned about the cacao process, and even where to walk around safely and what areas to avoid. Great photos and experience. The Iguanas were really cute too. Thanks for a wonderful time Bonnie! Recommend a hat, sunscreen and water.

  Review by Kevin. Francisco gave us a wonderful food tour of Guayaquil. Right off the bat Francisco felt like a friend and got to know us while we were on our way to the first stop. He wanted to make sure we enjoyed our time, and tailored the tour to our tastes live. We explored multiple restaurants, focusing on authenticity. We started with a traditional breakfast of "baby's head" plantain, cheese, and meat. Next up was incredible crab ceviche, more than we could handle for a very reasonable price. At this point, Francisco noticed we were a bit jet lagged from our long journey, so he brought us to a modern cute cafe where we were served both pour over and siphon coffee. It was literally the best coffee I have ever had, and I consider myself pretty picky. We ended the tour by visiting a couple of bakeries to get a taste of the breads and desserts Ecuadorians enjoy. What I loved most about Francisco's tour was that when he communicated with the chef/barista about their craft, he always asked why a certain technique was used, and relayed that explanation to us. We really felt we weren't just eating, but also better understanding Ecuadorian culture by experiencing it with Francisco.

  Excellent tour explain in detail the history of Guayaquil, its monuments, its authorities. Stroll through the iconic areas of the city. The guide I got was very attentive and friendly.   Aldo is a great guid. He exposed us to the culture and history of Ecuador. The tour combines car and walking tour, which was a perfect combination. Aldo also gave us advice on what to do after we left Guayaquil. We were very fortunate to have Aldo as our guide.

  A great experience and tour with Antonio. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Great insight into the history of the city. We walked the Las Peñas barrio, lighthouse, water front, Malecón, discussed architecture and historic buildings. He was happy to adapt the itinerary to suit our needs. A very personable guide. Highly recommended.
