Enjoy a drive around some of the best countryside Switzerland has to offer. Start your journey in your private and exclusive Mercedes Mini Van. Let Chris drive you along the Brunig Pass, stopping off at Lungernsee to reach the spectacular Bernese Oberland. From there, choose the spectacular sights you want to visit ranging from the fascinating Aare Gorge which is 1’400 metres long and up to 200 metres deep. The Giessbach Falls are breath-taking as is the 150 year old Giessbach hotel for lunch overlooking Lake Brienz. Take a boat trip over to Brienz and stroll along Brungasse, one of Europe`s prettiest streets. Journey onto Interlaken for a souvenir stop and then go along the Lauterbrunnen valley to see the 300metre Staubbach Falls. Drive onto the Trummelbach Falls and witness waterfalls within a mountain and finally drive up to Isenfluh for some awesome views of the big 3 - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau or go one further and take the cable car to Sulwald for more incredible views.

Stop off at Lungern (see pics) for a great photo opportunity on route to the Bernese Oberland.

5.00I can’t begin to describe the perfect day that Chris at Typically Swiss Tours created for our group of 12. We only had one full day (post river cruise) to see as much from Lucerne as possible. Chris included some of the important Lucerne sites and then whisked us off to nothing short of a “MAGICAL DAY”. We had a glass blowing demo at Glasi Hergiwill , magnificent Mountain splendor in Burgenstock and a “picture postcard” visit to Gissebach Waterfalls. We ended the day with an amazing view of Jungfraujoch in Interlaken. Added to that was a lovely lunch at a Swiss Chalet with excellent local specialties. I am a travel consultant, and I have the opportunity to work with many tour guides in many countries. Chris stands out as one of the best I have worked with. From my 1st communication with him to the actual tour he was so easy to work with. He set a preliminary itinerary, asked about what we wanted to see and do and then set the course for an extraordinary day! He is a great find in Switzerland, and I highly recommend him for all your Switzerland tours whether they be just a day tour or multi day excursions throughout the country. I will be recommending him to all my clients!

5.00We picked Chris based primarily on the excellent reviews he had received. It was the right choice. Chris connected with us ahead of time to gauge what we want in a guide and activities. We gave him input and he created a framework for two days of activities with the flexibility to adapt. It was perfect. The weather cleared for us on day two and we shifted to the high country. Chris was able to bring us to places we probably wouldn’t have seen on our own and some places even other guides may not know about. Chris gets our highest recommendation!

5.00Chris was absolutely outstanding. Just trust him in this tour and all his suggestions. We saw beautiful villages and visited very unique spots. My husband and I truly enjoyed this private sightseeing experience!

5.00What an amazing tour! I have taken many tours in my life, this was the best by far! Chris Wilson was outstanding! I can’t say enough! He went above and beyond our expectations, worked hours beyond what was required, due to construction traffic, just to make our experience special. He took tons of great photos along the way, (he definitely has a photographers eye), and took us to see unique places that were not overly crowded. He had sweet little gifts for us at the end of the perfect day. Our hearts were full and I am forever grateful to him for making our 35th wedding anniversary so incredible! Until next time Switzerland!💚🩵🤍 And there will be a next time!

5.00We had such an amazing time touring with Chris from Typically Swiss Tours. Right from the start, he was so helpful — even before we arrived in Switzerland, he was answering our questions over WhatsApp and making sure everything was easy for us. On the day, Chris picked us up from our hotel and took us to the most incredible places. The scenery honestly blew us away, and Chris’s knowledge of the local areas made it even more special. What stood out most was how connected he was with the towns we visited — he introduced us to locals and gave us insights we never would have had on our own. Chris is such a lovely person and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. We loved the little unique touches he added along the way, and the fact that he seemed to know everyone at each stop just made the experience feel even more authentic. It really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth every cent. We’d happily book with Chris again in the future and would recommend him to anyone wanting to see the best of Switzerland. 5.00Chris is an amazing tour guide! He’s extremely accommodating and does his best to find out your interests to make your trip personalized. Chris was always cracking jokes and telling stories to make us laugh :-) He also recommended places that weren’t on our radar that were spectacular views.
Amazing Tour of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Surrounding Area

5.00We had an amazing full day tour with Chris fully exploring Wengen, Lauterbrunnen Valley, Isenfluh, Brienz and all the hidden gems that Chris took us to in the beautiful area of Switzerland. He was a master at helping us maximize the things we saw in the time we had available. We had a wonderful lunch at the Grand Hotel Giessbach, walked behind a waterfall, we saw wood carvers, hiked a portion of the Aare Gorge trail found memorable photo opportunities and so much more. Chris was very friendly and extremely accommodating. It was a lovely day and filled with incredible views and experiences. If you are going to Switzerland, Chris is your guy for amazing tours customized to your likes.

5.00Visited in early July with 2 adults and 2 teens. We only had a short time in Switzerland, staying in Lucerne, so this day trip was a perfect way to see the Bernese Oberlands and hit the highlights, as well as some perhaps lesser known stops along the way. Our guide, Chris, was friendly and knowledgeable. He is very willing to make your tour as personalized as possible, as stops/sites are somewhat customizable. Chris also allowed time for us to stop for lunch at a lovely spot, and to stop for gelato at yet another lovely spot! I do feel that driving in the area allowed us to make more stops and to see more villages/sights than we would have by taking the train, so I think this tour was very much worth it! Recommend!
