Roundhouse Birmingham
Our Licensed England Athletics Run Leader will meet you at Roundhouse Birmingham, a hidden-gem heritage building positioned along our World-famous canals (we have more of them than Venice did you know). Your Guide will take you through an introduction, warmup, group ice-breaker, and tell you a bit about the History of this building (only the most exciting facts of course), before you start your running tour.
Centenary Square
After running 0.5 miles along the canal, we stop for a breather at our first stop. Here you'll see many sights including Birmingham Library, The Hall of Memory, Baskerville House, and the water feature we like to call the "overly designed puddle". Your guide will tell you some fun facts about these landmarks and introduce how Birmingham first began as a city 1620 years ago.

5.00Brilliant idea and really enjoyed it. Lucy was a great guide with so many interesting insights. The pace was self setting, and would suit all ability levels. The views of the city were varied and the route provided just the right balance for me. Really good trip and one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good tour that enjoys a run. Thanks Lucy - I’ll be back.

5.00A great way to spend Halloween evening running through the streets of Birmingham with a like minded group of people. The tour was excellent taking in a number of Birmingham's attractions. Hannah was a superb guide and gave us history to each location we stopped at. Pace was just right giving time to enjoy the occasion with the Jewellery Quarter my favourite stop.
Run, have fun and learn about Brum!

5.00I have done this tour before but I loved running the Spooky Halloween version! Hannah was knowledgeable and made the tour fun - her pumpkin costume made sure we were noticed and we had many cheers of encouragement en route! I love finding out more about my home city and would thoroughly recommend any of the Run of a Kind tours to Brummies and visitors too! I always meet interesting people and fun! The running pace is accessible with plenty of info stops to catch your breath!
Fantastic, friendly and fun way to see the sights!

5.00Booked on the Hallowe'en night tour of the Best of Birmingham, which included exploring a spooky graveyard! I've never done a tour of any city before, but this is definitely the way to do it. Very interesting information and stops and presented brilliantly. A great range of participants as well and the pace was gentle enough fornus all to have a bit of a chat as we went. The only downside (apart from a slight communication error at the start which was quickly sorted) is that I want to see these in every town and city now!
Highly recommended - Exploring parts of the city in a fun way

5.00Enjoyed every minute of the tour. Good balance of running and stopping to look around, take photos and learn more of the city’s past. Lucy was an extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guide and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to the other participants on the way. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys tuning and wants to explore the many different areas of the city and learn some interesting facts! 😀
