Labi Hauz which is translated as 'at the pond' is one of the central squares of Bukhara situated in the southeast part of the city. The architectural ensemble was created in the 16th-17th centuries. The square has the form of an irregular polygon with the Divan-Begi madrasah in the eastern part.

I had a wonderful day exploring Bukhara’s Old Town with Shakhnoza. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history and culture in a way that was easy to follow and very engaging. The tour was well-paced, and I never felt rushed while still seeing all the main highlights. Her warm personality and excellent English made the whole experience enjoyable — highly recommended!

Today we enjoyed an excellent tour of Bukhara. Our guide led us on a walk through the old city's main monuments, madrassas, and mosques. She taught us about Bukhara's history and its key developments across ancient and modern times. Part of the city is currently undergoing renovation, and I believe it captures the essence of the Silk Road era perfectly.
