  We arranged the tour from our guide at Sandals. Our driver was Denny. He did a great job navigating the winding island roads all the while showing us the many different spice trees and villages. Great day, try to get Denny to do your trip

  I great time exploring all the great sites that Grenada has to offer. The tour guide and driver was good, however it would been better if he had support with additional tour guide, that he can focus on the road which he did very well. That may taken away from explain some of the places in more detail

  While visiting Grenada in February 2024 for the first time in eight years, my friend and I ventured out and had a wonderful experience on the Best of Grenada Historical Spice Tour and Annandale Waterfall experience. Peter was our amazing driver and tour guide. He was a wealth of knowledge and was extremely patient with everyone, plus he was fantastic at navigating every twist and turn along the way. He seemed to know virtually everyone on the island to boot. (I believe Peter gives tours only on Wednesdays, which was a treat for us.) This jampacked day included a tour of an old-school, non-automated rum distillery (River Antoine Estate), a chocolate factory (Diamond, maker of Jouvay Chocolate), a nutmeg museum, a tasty lunch at Belmont Estate, encounters with Mona monkeys and beautiful, sweet stray animals, and breathtaking views of a waterfall at Great Etang Lake.   If you're looking for an adventure tour - this tour is not it. However, this tour will show you Grenada, in a way you will not get by just staying on resort. This was an all day adventure - due to traffic and some detours - we left around 8am and didn't get back until 8pm. The detours did provide some adventure come to think of it - driving on Caribbean roads anybody?! ;) Our driver absolutely made this tour what it was - huge compliments to Donald, who knows his island inside and out. You will spend a lot of time on the bus (refreshments provided), but you literally get to travel around the whole island and see all the individual villages. Most of the villages are just completely decked out in the Grenadian colors. Our driver was very knowledgeable on the local flora & fauna, so he highlighted so many unique things. Also made pit stops for pictures and such. You get to stop at the highlights: nutmeg factory, chocolate factory (who knew nutmeg & chocolate was such a fabulous combo?), fabulous lunch at Belmont Estate, rum factory, scenic lake and finish the day at one of Grenada's waterfalls. We are so glad we did this tour. It's not really a tour you need to do more than once, but if you're coming to Grenada and want to see more than the resort beach, then we absolutely recommend this tour!! We fell in love with the island and her people. Special thanks to Donald for making this tour so memorable!

  Went on the tour yes after day and LOVED it! It’s a full day tour which went quickly. Our driver, Dwight, was amazing!! The tour at the nutmeg factory was interesting! The chocolate factory tour was fun & delicious!! You must do the sampling! The rum distillery, Rivers Rum, was the highlight for me. Learning that the rum is made as it was when the distillery began in 1785, made this a unique tour! Sampling was fun too😁. The visit to the waterfalls was nice too! Don’t miss out on this tour.

  We had booked this, received a confirmation, called and confirmed the day before, and then in the afternoon they cancelled. Every tour booked the Island Routes was a problem. Fortunately, Nickson at Maca Bana was able to get us a private tour of these sites at the last minute for a cheaper amount.
