5.00We liked hearing about the history of Goodland and Marco Island. Plus the original inhabitants. We almost missed the tour but Captain Nate was kind and enough to call and wait for us. We were at the wrong marina. Maybe better instructions of where to meet on the ticket.

5.00My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. This is a must do excusion. Captain John was awesome! He explained the mangroves and what we could see. We saw birds, dolphins and wildlife. Toured the inner channels and cruised by the homes of amazing homes of Marco Island residents and the rich and famous. It was a way to see parts of Marco Island and the surrounding area that you cannot see by car. Definitely worth the trip!

Dolphins In Their Natural Habitat

5.00Wonderful experience watching dolphins swim in their natural habitat in the mangroves of Marco Island. We also saw a pod of dolphins swimming and feeding together. Many beautiful birds, including burrowing owls were seen. When passing an Osprey nest, two young birds popped up joining their mother to watch us. Captain John Mikulka, a Florida Naturalist, was informative, answering questions about the ecosystem of the mangroves; and also about the sea life, birds, animals, and reptiles that call it home. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00The experience was great, the guide was great and the liittle doggie was adorable! Seeing the dolphins go after their food was pretty amazing. My sister and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend!!

5.00An amazing adventure with Captain Nate. A small boat that can take out six passengers. The dolphins swam right next to the boat. I got some great videos of the males courting a female. Nate is so knowledgeable about Gulf dolphins and birds.

5.00Captain very knowledgeable about the area around Marco Island. Able to see dolphins, although that wasn't his main objective, but he realized the passengers were very excited to see the dolphins.

5.00Thank you Captain John, your tour was a great experience for me and my husband, Harry. The day was lovely - not too hot or cold, and although the waters were choppy at times, you made sure that we were not "against the wind" and so helped us enjoy the great outdoors. Saw dolphins - 5 actually; learned a lot about the wildlife, and about the Marco Island story. You have a fine way with all of the participants onboard today, and it was good too hear out eldest share his reflections and thoughts as we toured. It means a lot to know that everyone was welcome to participate. And you called us by name, a meaningful way to host. Thanks, see you in Maine... maybe!
