Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple
The 130 year old Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Ganesha. The temple is visited by over hundred thousand pilgrims every year. Devotees of the temple include celebrities & famous public figures who visit during the annual ten-day Ganeshotsav festival in September every year.
Aga Khan Palace
The Aga Khan Palace is a majestic building which is closely linked to the Indian freedom movement as it served as a prison for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desai and Sarojini Naidu. It is also the place where Kasturba Gandhi & Mahadev Desai died. Aga Khan Palace is major tourist attraction in Pune as it holds great historical significance. It has a beautiful architecture, century old trees and perfect gardens around it. It has Italian arches. The Palace captivates the eye of a spectator with its magnificence and picturesque architecture. The Palace has a number of objects, documents, photos and portraits depicting glimpses from the life of Mahatma Gandhi & other personalities of the Indian freedom struggle. This palace is also the headquarters of the Gandhi National Memorial Society & has a shop that deals in khaadi and other hand loomed textiles. Today the Palace houses a memorial on Mahatma Gandhi and his ashes are kept there.

5.00I chose this tour after I took the private Mumbai tour. We drove from Mumbai to Pune and back in the same day. Yeah it’s a drive, but the ac clean car was comfortable and safe. I had more chai in that one day than anyone should drink. I tried Irani chai-amazing. Had the most amazing briyani at a local spot called diamond queen. It was better than eating at a place that everyone has been to and reviewed. We did so much. Cool things- Osho gardens ; St Patrick church; beautiful Gurdwara (please go inside); ghandi museum; India war memorial (why selfie?), we drove through the city streets at night. The sounds, people, lights was mesmerizing. I learned so much about the city, the history, the culture and India. I’m glad that the driver ate with us. (Some don’t) I am blessed; I made a friend on this trip that will always be a part of me and my journey. It’s amazing to find someone who had as much fun as I did; while always looking out for my every comfort and safety. Please chose this or another tour from this tour company.

5.00I can’t speak enough to what a wonderful tour this was. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The communication was on point (and I booked the tour at the last minute the night before) and I already had instructions less than 30 minutes after booking for the next day. Was a little apprehensive that I was going by myself at first but Rahil was the ultimate professional and made me feel very comfortable. He’s very knowledgeable about the history of Pune and tailors the tour to your preference and timing (I had a time constraint). He makes sure you experience the culture and local foods. He’s super accommodating and engaging and I couldn’t recommend this business more. Will definitely book again if/when I find myself back in Pune with my family. Thanks Rahil!!

Specifically, we were able to see examples of a tolerant, diverse, and unique city we knew little about before our trip. 5.00Our group of 4 had a wonderful day getting to know Pune with Rahil. Although several sites were closed, we enjoyed the day and saw Pune through the eyes of a local. Rahil took us to a delicious local restaurant for lunch and we unexpectedly became part of a birthday party. It was an unforgettable day.

5.00We had a great day touring the different parts of Pune with World of Bollywood. Our driver was a safe and great driver. weaving through all the traffic. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel promptly. Our tour guide - Rahil - was very friendly and informative of the city and the people since he grew up there. He finds spots that make us feel like we were a part of the everyday hustle and bustle of Pune. There were so many things we did and places we saw that day, but here are some of my favorite parts of the tour. One of the pit stops he brought us to was a local lunch spot. The food was delicious and fresh. He also was able to order us several dishes that met our vegan dietary needs. Another pit stop he brought us to was a local breakfast place where we sampled some of the local dishes and coffee/tea. Another great experience was riding in a rickshaw, which we've never done before! Overall, a great tour that we recommend to anyone who wants to see Pune as much as they can in one day!
