5.00Saika was our food tour guide and she was awesome. She showed us how to eat sushi like the Japanese and not with sticks but by hand. She took us to some really nice family owned restaurants where the food was awesome.

5.00We were a group of 8 and were lucky enough to have the wonderful Alex as our guide. We were taken to six different restaurants - many we would never have found without doing this tour. Each restaurant served a different Japanese dish and again there were dishes we would not have tried if not on the tour. If you wish to experience local Japanese food and hear the history of the dishes and the Shibuya area this tour will fulfil. Thank you Alex, you were great fun and we loved it!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour in Shibuya with Ray. He introduced us to some incredible spots we never would have discovered on our own — many hidden gems well off the beaten path. Ray was knowledgeable and inclusive - and he managed to activate our children, for whom he had small surprises. It was the perfect way to kick off our Japan adventure, especially after a day where we’d felt a bit lost in translation.

5.00Our guide was Daniel and he was spectacular. He was engaging, thoughtful, flexible and had great judgement in keeping us (a v jet lagged family) moving along. The places we visited were delicious and had great variety showing us the truth breadth of Japanese cuisine.

Daniel, our guide was so knowledgable about the Shibuya area, and always gave us a detailed background to the food we were eating, the places we were seeing and it was a good variety. A lot of food was eaten! But it was all delicious and he was sure to accommodate any special food likes and dislikes. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for some of the best little hidden eateries in Shibuya and learning more about the area. Thank you Daniel for a fantastic evening!

5.00This tour gave us a taste of different Japanese foods in various establishments. Our guide Saika was very knowledgeable and made the tour a memorable experience. We definitely felt that the places we stopped were not the usual tourist spots and that it gave us a very authentic experience. Highlights included a stand up sushi restaurant as well as an Izakaya with phenomenal chicken wings.

5.00Our tour guide Ray was excellent — fluent English and fluent Japanese. We did the restaurant tour the day after we arrived in Tokyo and it was an excellent introduction to Japan. Ray is a fountain of information and his tour prepared us for the rest of our 2-week trip around Japan. Each restaurant / food experience was very different from the other and a unique window into Japanese culture. Highly recommended!

5.00My husband and I did the best of Shibuya food tour with Yasmine. We enjoyed trying foods from various regions of Japan, and the restaurants we visited were authentic and delicious! We tried places we would have been unlikely to venture to on our own, which is such a plus. Yasmine provides much more than a food tour, we loved learning more about Japanese culture and life in Tokyo. Highly recommend the tour and Yasmine!
