  Jaime was the best guide for a fabulous Pintxos tour. We tasted the delicious food and had fabulous wine while enjoying his charismatic and charming personality. Tonight was such a fun night and can’t think of one thing he could have done to improve our experience. I’m going to sleep very full but also very content and happy! An A plus, perfect night!

  Highly recommend this tour, we learned a lot from Gonzalo and had such a fun day! We got to try so many different foods and wine, he was was very knowledgeable and it was really nice to do this on our first full day here, as a way to get comfortable with the very busy times at the bars for pintxos.   The guide arrived on time, he is really nice, helpful, polite and knows a lot about wine! The tour was wonderful, so as the visit to the winerys, landscapes, and the medieval town La. Guardia. Wine and food, everything excellent!

  We had so much fun with Iker on our Pintxos food & drink tour. Two out of four of us had some tricky food restrictions/preferences and Iker made sure that we all got to experience unique and delicious food. We learned so much from him about Basque history and culture while having a blast. It felt more like a night out visiting a friend than being on a touristy excursion.

  Our fabulous local tour guide Carlotta ensured we had a great night. She provided a history of San Sebastián while we wandered through old town stopping to sample the local beers and wine as well as the pintxos. The company accommodated our group of 6 including dietaries for 1 vegan. Plenty of food and drinks. Would recommend.

  Traveling with Iker. Best tour and our guide was very knowledgeable and caring. He cooked dinner for us and took as on drive along coast of San Sebastián and the Guggenheim

  We had a great time with Iker who made us discover San Sebastian, all its friendliness and its gastronomy, traditional and more modern. We enjoyed it. Very good organization, information, communication and Welcoming despite our delay. Thank you again.

  As in Bilbao, wonderful guide: Jon, picked us at the port of Pasaia, about 10 miles from the big town; so, we first drove to beautiful Hondarribia, up over some mountains where we visited some of the “semi-wild” horses (and cattle). Hondarribia is on the river that divides France from Spain. So, over the years, the countries have fought over the place. A lovely town to walk through. Then to San Sebastian, Jon's home town. Drove through town up to an overlook, Monte Igueldo. Gorgeous. A place simply to walk and enjoy the views. Downtown for pintxos. But more “sophisticated this time. Stops: Casa Vergara for roca de bacalao (blacken rock cod). Then, off to Atari for beef cheeksover potatos with a sauce, carrillera foie plancha (foie gras with chopped tomatoes and spices, salted, toasted cornbread crumbs and a white chocolate sauce (not sweet)) – to die for, and callos (pork belly in sauce (too fatty for us). Then to ItxaroPena for baby scallops served on a scallop shell with a lemony white wine sauce, mushroom muffin with an egg yolk, and pieces of steak in a red wine sauce. Finally, to La Vina for cheesecake (not too sweet), with a dollop of dark sherry from Pedro Jimenez. Wow. (The tour included another pintxo, but we were full)

  A group of 4 of us had an amazing time walking the streets of San Sebastián with Iker. As well as taking us to the great pintxos bars to sample the local delicious food and wine, Iker was also incredibly knowledgeable about the area and town. His enthusiasm for the people and culture really shines through as he shares his vast experience with us. I would highly recommend this tour. I would also reccomend doing the tour on one of the first days in San Sebastian as it was a real educational experience to see and feel how what the locals do. Thanks again Iker!!!
