    Disappointed experience. As two friends in their 30s, we were looking forward to enjoying the two day trip but soon realized that we were placed on a “senior” cruise ship which felt pretty weird. The food was inedible and the trip was ruined by a large group of Indians that were playing their own loud music, even brought their own food on the boat and did not respect night hours. At some point the electricity even switched off. The staff admitted themselves the group was under control and couldn’t do anything to keep them quiet. Very poor experience/ would not recommend this trip.

    Absolutely recommend Athena Group! Had a gorgeous cabin with a bath and balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food, what can I say, just amazing. Halong is a bit crowded but I so enjoyed the cruise and the evening in the jacuzzi on my own with a cold beer on the Athena.

    Booking experience was very easy. Driver let us know when he was on the way and sent on reg for us to look for. The transfer was very comfortable and well prepared. The boat exceeded our expectations with the crew being so attentive and seeing to our every need. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone travelling to see ha long bay!
