The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Bayonne or the Cathedral of Our Lady of Bayonne (French: Cathédrale Sainte-Marie de Bayonne or Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayonne; Basque: Santa Maria katedrala or Andre Maria katedrala), commonly known as Bayonne Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Bayonne, France. It is the seat of the former Bishops of Bayonne, now the Bishops of Bayonne, Lescar, and Oloron. The cathedral is in the Gothic architectural tradition. The site was previously occupied by a Romanesque cathedral that was destroyed by two fires in 1258 and 1310.

Exceptional tour! Josu was our tour guide, and we highly recommend that you request him. He was very professional, respectful, friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. All of the towns we visited had their own enchantment. We visited Biarritz, Bayona, and St. Jean de Luz. The ocean views at Biarritz are spectacular. The “pastel vasco”(Gateau Basque) is a must try. Bayona was a pretty town with colorful houses and stores. Chocolates were delicious. St. Jean de Luz is smaller, but pretty as well with many small shops around and streets to walk around. The Cathedrals and churches in the three cities were beautiful to see as well.

Our guide, ANA was charming, she was very informative and friendly. We loved the experience and recommend this tour. Biaritz is lovely place.

Josu our guide picked us up promptly from our hotel as arranged and treated us to an amazing day seeing the sights and flavours of the Basque French Coast region. He navigated us smoothly and efficiently through different villages affording us maximum time to see the sights and always very mindful of our safety in terms of dropping us where traffic was quietest and ensuring our boarding and disembarking from the very smart van was easy. We needed further support for another tour we wanted to book and Josu stayed in touch with us and was fast and efficient in his response. He was very supportive and keen to help. It was a fun tour and a great day in the safe and knowledgeable hands of Josu. Bayonne was a quaint village, Biarritz was very classy and Saint Jean de Luz lovely fishermen village with colorful houses. Everything was beautiful! It definitely worth the money!! Thank you very much!!

Our tour guide was great.He offered hotel pick up which worked out perfectly. Weather was not very good, but still had the opportunity to see lot of interesting spots. Lunch was great with different options.I would definitely recommend this tour.

The journey from Bilbao to Bayonne took an hour and a half but it was very worth making the journey. With Josu we had a fantastic day. Bayonne was what we liked the most, its architecture is beautiful. Our guide was very close and professional. Highly recommended to be able to do this tour.
