• The perfect way to end my holiday.

  What a fabulous day! Valerie could not have been a better tour guide today. But it started even before that. As soon as I booked, she contacted me on WhatsApp to let me know that we are set. She told me exactly where to meet, and I was surprised that morning to find out that I was the only person on the tour, so it was so personal and so fantastic when she asked if I wanted it in French or English, I asked for English, but we also got a few good French lessons I was able to speak and communicate with her and ask some questions about certain things with the language. But I have to tell you she made the city of Biarritz come alive for me. Usually when I’m in a new city, I like to take a tour as soon as I arrive that didn’t work out and so I took the tour on my last day and it was really a perfect way to end everything because all the beautiful buildings and places I had seen before were suddenly put into context. It is hard to pick a favorite part, but I think it would probably have to be when we ended our tour at Les Halles. Everyone there knew her and greeted her warmly. And she was fantastic with our little picnic. I would say with ham and cheese and wine. It couldn’t have been more French and couldn’t have been more perfect. I will highly recommend her and I will make sure that anyone I know who goes to Biarritz will book a tour with her

  We had a great time in the company of Valerie who offered us a gastronomic tour with small onions. We were able to taste both sweet and savoury local specialities, with a passionate and exciting guide. We recommend Valerie without any reservations!

  I had a private tour and truly enjoyed the experience. It was a perfect mix of cultural information and culinary surprises. We also strolled along the sea for a bit and several nice pictures were taken of me in front of local sights, which was especially appreciated by me as a solo traveler.   We had an unbelievable experience getting to know Biarritz with our tour guide Valerie. She was friendly and answered all of our questions. The tour had everything we wanted from, tasting local chocolate, macaroons to wine and cheese in the market. Beautiful walk through the streets of Biarritz which included a walk along the coastline and learning about the history of the area. Would 100% recommend this tour if you want to get to know Biarritz.

  We had a wonderful tour with Valerie who shared her love of Biarritz city & the Basque food & culture. She explained the accreditation details for the authenticity of local delicacies & handicrafts for which this region is justifiably famous, whilst visiting their outlets.
