5.00This activity was easy to book. We booked the red line. Bus stops were easy to find. Got to see a lot of landmarks from the comfort of the bus since it was so chilly outside in Nov.

5.00Took the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour and had a fantastic experience! The routes covered all the main attractions, making it a convenient way to explore the city. The commentary was informative and engaging, giving great insights into the history and culture. Being able to hop on and off at our own pace made it really flexible. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an easy and fun way to see the sights!

1.00Waited for 50 minutes in the freezing cold. Bus didn’t turn up. Complained to Big Bus Company. Very unhelpful. Offered 30% refund. Would never use them again.

1.00This was by far the most unpleasant experience I have ever had on a holiday, the bus was so cold it just made the whole experience hellish , and we were on the lower deck !

1.00Bus route didn’t stop where advertised..should have told us there were diversions in place as we booked, traffic was so bad it was like being in a traffic jam (in back streets looking at traffic cones ) for five hours…windows in the bus have massive black frames so you can’t see eff all and the three drivers we had were absolutely terrible drivers and the rudest creatures ive ever come across. Avoid ! We missed ALL the iconic tourist attractions, including Regent street , Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, No 10 Downing St and the Houses of Parliament. We saw backstreets..

3.00We visited London last weekend and were based in Covent Garden. We were watching a show at 2pm so decided to try and make our way to the London eye. We were approached by big bus and I said we were only free that morning but we’re trying to make our way to the eye. He told us to jump on and we would be there within 30 minutes. Costing £65 for myself and my daughter we did jump on. It was around 9:15am. We finally arrived at the eye around 10am. We continued our tour after seeing the eye which took longer than expected with it being remembrance Sunday. Many routes were closed so had to be rerouted. Upon reaching our final stop in Covent Garden around 11:45 we noticed the eye was right there. We were a little annoyed, the big bus worker could have easily told us we could get to it quite quickly by walking when we told him at the start of the day we were just trying to see the eye. Instead he sold us a bus ride for £65. I wish we had done a bit more research but with him saying 30 minutes on the bus to get there we assumed it was quite far away. It was a great tactic to get us to pay. However, we did enjoy the bus tour, my daughter is autistic and didn’t listen to the headphone commentary however I enjoyed the information given. Although it was a bit delayed. For example After crossing tower bridge it said you are about to cross tower bridge etc, It was also great to see the remembrance service from the top of the bus, lots of people and soldiers paying their respects. I have learnt my lesson to see how close places are before paying to jump on a bus. However I did enjoy the commentary.
