Join this beautiful and safe bike ride to see the massive and ancient "El Tule" tree, the WIDEST tree in the world. Visit the town of Santa Maria del Tule, its beautiful lush gardens at the square, the food market and craft shops.
This is a great GUIDED ride and we'll provide you with a BIKE and HELMET.

Oaxaca
Meet in downtown Oaxaca. Then, once we are geared up with helmets and our quality bikes, we'll begin our journey to Santa Maria del Tule (10 km or 6 miles one way, 40 to 50 min. ride). We'll ride on a dedicated bike lane, covered with tree shades for the most part. It's mostly flat. During our ride, you'll get to see the outskirts of the city, beautiful hills, and a few crop fields.
Santa Maria del Tule
Once we arrive to Santa Maria del Tule, we'll go see the massive tree, the beautiful lush gardens and the local church. Here, you'll learn interesting facts about the tree and history of the town.

5.00Wonderful experience! Ivan made us feel very safe on the 45 min bike ride and provided a fun, informative tour of the Tule tree with ~50 min to explore the small town and get food after. You can also leave some items in the office at the meeting point which lvan locked up, which was convenient. Highly recommend taking this bike tour to the tree rather than just taking a car there. Thank you, Ivan!

5.00Apart from El Tule being amazing to see and the local town being adorable our guide was amazing. I really enjoyed getting out of the city for the afternoon and the change of scenery. Everything was explained really well and I felt safe the whole time. So glad I decided to do this. It was actually a highlight of my time in Oaxaca.

5.00This is an awesome way to get out of the city and see a unique natural wonder in just a half day. Our host Sigrid did an excellent job making the bike ride feel manageable keeping our group together, and managing traffic at intersections so we could cross safely. When we got to the tree she gave a very thorough explanation of the tree's sianificance. Which was detailed but also felt personal. She also gave great recommendations for food at the market nearby. This is a very well run and professional tour, with good pacing, high quality bikes and consistent communication. This morning was definitely one of the highlights of my trip - thank you again to Sigrid and the team.

5.00Sigrid was a wonderful tour guide for the small group bike rid to the Tree of Tule. The widest tree in the world. She made everyone feel safe. supported, and comfortable on the bikes and with the route. I'm a 25-year old (who hasn't ridden a bike in three years) and found it easy-moderate. More so moderate because of the heat. The route was flat, with small inclines/ declines, and slightly bumpy. There was lots of shade and a lovely breeze keeping us cool. The Tree of Tule was beautiful to see in person and Sigrid gave us some facts and history whick made the trip even better. We had some free time to walk the market, eat at local stalls, and browse artisan shops. It was great to get out of Oaxaca and get some exercise without spending the entire day away.

5.00Sigrid was an excellent guide! She had so many fun facts to share about the tree in Tule and she kept a great pace for the bike ride, not too fast or too slow. The ride itself was very peaceful, on a dedicated bike lane for the majority of the ride and with some nice views of the mountains in the distance. I'd definitely consider more trips with this company!

5.00We loved our trip with Sigrid! The cycling is easy and Sigrid is very careful about traffic etc. The town of Tule is very much worth visiting and this is an excellent way to do it.
