We begin our journey at Puerto Madero, where the blend of history and modernity mirrors the progress of the country—much like the evolution of Argentine wine. The old docks, now beautifully restored, were once at the heart of trade and exportation that helped put Argentine wine on the world map. From here, we enjoy panoramic views that invite us to think about how wine has transcended borders.
Torre Monumental
This tower was a gift from the British community in Buenos Aires to Argentina in 1916, celebrating 100 years of the country’s independence. It stands right in front of Retiro, one of the main train stations in Argentina. The tower has a large clock at the top and was built in a British architectural style, using materials brought from the UK. At night, the lighting makes it easy to admire the details of its design.

5.00Great way to experience Buenos Aires at night. The ride was easy and relaxed, and seeing the city illuminated gave it a completely different feel. Our guide was friendly and informative, and the pace was perfect to enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommended if you want to see the city from another perspective.

5.00I had a total knee replacement, and set a goal of 3 months post-surgery for resuming cycling. I chose Buenos Aires because it's flat, and then looked around for a private ride since I didn't want to inconvenience a group if things didn't go well. I stopped by the office for La Bicicleta Naranja and met and talked to Silvia, their office manager and I explained my situation. She and I agreed that a private ride made sense, and she set me up with "Chan" for a night ride. Both Silvia and Chan couldn't have been nicer, everything went perfectly, Chan was a great guide and I learned so much about an area I had only seen superficially during previous visits. The bikes are "fixies", single gear urban cruisers,just fine for getting around the flat city. I had a great time, and highly recommend this group.
