An hours drive from San Sebastián. The trek to gaztelugatxe is beautiful but steep. Be prepared with good shoes & water! Bilboa walking tour was interesting. Crowded city streets. Guggenheim museum is modern art & a treat for your eyes. The building itself is beautiful. Our local guide was outstanding giving insight on the area

We had an incredible day visiting Gaztelugatxe, Bilbao Old Town, and the Guggenheim. The landscapes at Bakio were stunning and the walk out the church is absolutely worth the trek. Bilboa is a charming city and the Guggenheim is truly one of a kind! Thanks to our guide Adur, who was welcoming, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He helped make this day one we will never forget!

We had a wonderful time! Our guide Paul was friendly, patient and had good command of the English language. He explained the culture of the Basque people and food. Our climb to G. Was exhilarating and quite a challenge! Then we had lunch in Bilboa (delicious variety of local food) and saw several landmarks. Then we headed to the Guggenheim museum and our guide gave us time to explore the inside and out. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Paul even gave us lunch and dinner recommendations. I highly recommend this tour. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide made us feel welcome and didn’t rush us.
