One of the most beautiful tourist attractions. The bastion seems like if it came straight out of a fairy tale. Its located next to Matthias Church and offers a great view of the night time city, including the Parliament and Saint Stephens Basilica.

5.00Absolutely brilliant tour, brought to life by the wonderful Oscar! The stories we heard were incredible, and Oscar was a joy to hear retell them. We explored parts of the castle district that we wouldn’t have found otherwise, and Oscar gave us so many interesting facts, not only about bloodthirsty history, but the old town itself. Would absolutely recommend!

5.00Our guide was Oscar, an US-Hungarian actor, and our tour was marvelous! Oscar is an awesome storyteller, also as an non-native English speaker I could follow him very well. He could picture those bloodthirsty stories so well, it was great. The stroll around Buda castle by night was the perfect frame for the tour! Absolutely recommended

5.00A great tour with an incredible amount of history wrapped up in true bloodthirsty stories from Hungary's nobility and queens. Our guide Joe was really a great storyteller and gave the tour an incredible charm. We were able to take a lot of time for photos and were finally taken to the right bus route. We have already done some “scary tours” and this one was really by far the best. A really very great tour that we would recommend to everyone.

5.00We did the Blood Thirsty Tour in Budapest with Legendary Tours and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Valen… sorry, Jo, was excellent. I’ve never done a guided tour before, but the way he brought the stories to life completely pulled me in. It wasn’t just dramatic storytelling for effect. It was grounded in real history. He’d often pause and say, “Let me give you the facts,” before unpacking the actual historical context behind the darker legends, which I really appreciated. The Dracula story in the square near the National Library was a standout moment. The setting, the delivery, the detail. Brilliant. We were also lucky enough to have the Buda Castle District almost to ourselves, which made the atmosphere even better. The group was around 10 people, which felt perfect. Small enough to stay engaging and personal. Amazing value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest who enjoys history and strong storytelling. The only thing I’d say is it’s really not one for kids. They wouldn’t get much out of it, and it’s far more enjoyable with a group that can appreciate the detail and context. Would absolutely book this again, the next time I am in Budapest.

5.00Our guide Joe was brilliant. Great stories and very amusing anecdotes. Joe outlined how the tour would go and at what locations he would give a story about each of the historic characters and their associations with Hungary and Budapest. We really enjoyed the evening and learned a bit about names we were familiar with and others names we were hearing about for the first time. Each story was very vivid and entertaining. As well as the stories we were shown lovely buildings of Budapest all lite up. There was no problem stopping to take photos if you wished. Many thanks to Joe for a fabulous entertaining evening. Highly recommend.

5.00Did the Blood Thirsty Tour.. I really don’t know what to expect but once the tour started , I was like a child..I was engrossed listening to Oscar who was amazing. Please please book this tour if you’re looking for a couple hours of entertainment..
