St. Paul's Bay
Departing from St. Paul’s Bay, cruise along Malta’s northern coastline past St. Paul’s Islands and into Ahrax Cave for a close view. Continue through Comino’s north channel, passing the Elephant’s Head rock formation, Santa Maria Cave, Santa Maria Bay, and St. Nicholas Bay. After about one hour, arrive at the famous Blue Lagoon, where the boat moors for 1 hour 30 minutes. Swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on deck, or explore the island. Onboard facilities include sun decks with complimentary deck chairs (first come, first served), shaded seating, an air-conditioned lower deck, toilets, and a cafeteria serving hot and cold beverages.

Upon departure we cruise by our first site that of St. Paul's island. Here, as stated by the bible, is where he was shipwrecked in 60A.D we now find an 8.3 meter high statue.

5.00I took a BOLT car from my hotel and got there an hour early. I also read that you need to download a Blue Lagoon pass, so remember to do that beforehand, it is in the instructions. The ride is very nice, but extremely windy and cold. I wasn't prepared for the wind and cold weather in May! The captain stops at various places for you to get a picture, the crew helps those like myself take a picture of me in the picture instead of a solo traveler never getting themselves in a picture. A must is to pay the 5 euro to get the bus in Gozo. They drop you off near the center and you can walk all the way up to the Citadel, which is free and great views. Then you get about 2 hours to explore, get an ice cream and stop at a shop or two before finding the bus again. The bus stops one time almost to the ship so you can take a beautiful picture of the harbor and church and monastery.

4.00Too deck was busy when I arrived 30 mins early so if you want to get a seat, be very early. Boat trip itself was good. Blue lagoon was beautiful, Gozo was ok. Not a whole lot to see/do there. 3h probably a bit long for me. Paid the €5 shuttle, stopped at 1 viewing spot, otherwise it was a taxi. All good, just not blown away.

5.00Perhaps compared to other boats, this one is a bit old but for the money it was good value and worthwhile trip. The Blue Lagoon and Gozo definitely both worth a visit. It is all well organised. We were in Malta for 5 days in total and I would say this should always be part of such a break

4.00This trip was nice, we saw breathaking views, the crew was kind and helpful, the captain encouraged us to jump or slide from the boat at the Blue Lagoon. There was food on board and tasteful pineapple cocktails. Regarding Gozo - we had around 2.5 hours there, but it was nothing special (I visited only the Citadel and walked around the streets). Overall, I`d recommend this experience.

4.00Really enjoyed the boat trip. Great stops and fantastic scenery. We loved the blue lagoon stop, the caves and Gozo! Definitely get to the boat early if you would like a top deck seat. Take dry clothes for Gozo after swimming at blue lagoon. The only issue was the toilets on board didn’t lock at all which made it difficult to use and get changed. Also very busy and the crew were annoyed we had “moved the chairs” on the upper deck… which we hadn’t at all. There was limited space between chairs, slightly crammed. But overall a great trip for the value.

5.00Everything Perfect, definitely to recommend. Too bad the weather wasn't nice. I have already booked other excursions and I have always been comfortable with gold.
