This half-day tour lets you experience two of the most stunning swimming holes on the island of Efate Port Vila. The first stop will be at the Blue Lagoon, spend an hour swimming in the idyllic crystal clear waters next we move onto the Eden on the River. A hidden gem in the middle of the tree lined canopies lies an emerald green swimming hole. These two spots are two of the must see natural attractions in Port Vila.

We will spend about 1 hour at this stop where you will have the chance to swim inside one of the most Iconic and stunning swimming holes on the island of Efate.
Eden on the River
We will spend one hour at the Eden on the River. You will get to discover the beautiful location, a hidden gem on our island. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and jump into one of the best cascades in Vanuatu.

Port Vila, blue lagoon/Eden River

3.00There were obviously different tours bobbled together. Our tour blue lagoon and Eden River started at 08.30h, but the other tours that were with us only at 09.00h, so we waited until 09.30h until we started. First the buggy tour was served, then cutural village (we were allowed to participate in this, although not booked) We waited again about 30 min until the bus picked us up again, then blue lagoon. It was very interesting, but associated with a lot of waiting.

5.00Our driver was very polite and accommodating, he shared a lot of knowledge about all of the different things as we passed them and he was the best driver we had (very smooth driving) out of about 10 different drivers we had.

5.00Our day tour to Blue Lagoon and Eden River during our port day was the highlight of our cruise! The stunning salt water lagoon was a standout. Kids and adults alike all had so much fun leaping and swinging into the water!! Then we moved on to Eden River to wash away the seasalt and explore the small, fresh water rock pools and waterfalls. Vincent was a great guide sharing many interesting facts about Vanuatu's history and culture. Julian drove us safely to our destinations and back in time for a spot of market shopping before heading back to the ship.

4.00Thr Blue Lagoon is actually a large private seawater swimming hole with facilities at the seaside. It is not so "blue" in color as the freshwater Blue Holes in Santos. The Eden on the River is another swimming holes with cascaded shallow water falls, It looks pretty and is a nice freshwater swimming hole. Extra payment is required if you like to try the suspended steps/bridge walk over the water. We were cruisers and transported by tender from the cruise ship. The company put all cruisers in a medium bus, We were the first batch to arrive at the meeting point and waited 2 hours in the bus for all others cruisers to arrive by tender outside the cruise terminal and thus the tour was delayed. So no need to be hurried to join the tour as a cruiser and they will wait for you.
