Sydney Zoo offers a modern wildlife experience in Western Sydney, featuring iconic Australian animals like kangaroos and koalas alongside species from around the world. With open habitats and easy pathways, it’s a great spot for close-up encounters, perfect for families and first-time visitors. (Note: The zoo entry is only included in the "Scenic World & Zoo Entry" option. Guests may enjoy free time while others visit this attraction) This stop may be replaced by another wildlife park due to operational arrangements. Additionally, we’ll treat you a light morning tea at the zoo’s parking area (or another suitable spot depending on the day) to refresh and recharge before continuing the journey.

2.00The guide, Augustine, spoke constantly but no one could understand him to the point nobody knew where they were going and what they were doing. It was complete chaos at the mountains rushing from one colour cable car to the next with no clear instructions. We felt we didn’t get the most from this experience and missed several features. His driving was erratic, constant on and off the throttle with lots of lane changes and tailgating. I did have a word with him before we headed back but it didn’t make a difference. The tea and coffee was welcome but it would have been better with a clean spoon and sugar without bits of coffee in it. The structure of the trip was fine. The zoo was very nice and the scenery definitely worth seeing. Maybe with a better guide it would be worthwhile. I can also say my views were in line with others on the trip

3.00I was disappointed that the tour guide chose to speak primarily (90%) in Chinese to entertain his companions. This was not due to an inability to communicate in English, but rather because he seemed to prioritize engaging with his own group. If I had known this, I would have cancelled my reservation. mportantly, he cut the trip short to accommodate a couple from Hong Kong so they could catch a boat for additional sightseeing. Viator should reimburse me.

3.00The tour itself was great; however, our experience with the tour guide could have been better. At the Circular Quay pickup location, there was a moment of concern when the vehicle was left in drive as he stepped out of the coaster causing it to move briefly before he quickly returned to set it in park. While no harm was done, it was a bit unsettling. Additionally, much of the commentary during the tour felt unrelated to the itinerary, and there were instances where incorrect information was shared. He kept saying sorry. Lastly, the tea service was described as “high tea,” which may be somewhat misleading. A simpler description, such as tea and biscuits, would set more accurate expectations for guests. I would recomment the tour hopefully with another tour guide.

5.00This was AWESOME! Augustine was our tour guide and he did an amazing job keeping us informed on the itinerary and entertained with fun facts about Sydney and the Blue Mountains. The communication for this trip was clear, and we felt very safe. The Sydney Zoo was SUCH a highlight - getting to see the animals up close was an incredible experience. We loved the different look-out points of the three sisters, too. Scenic World was amazing, too! We want to go back to the Blue Mountains to hike a bit since we were wishing we made time to do that. Travel was super smooth, and we also really loved the town of Leura for lunch.

5.00Augustine did a wonderful job and was very accommodating to everyone. It was a lovely trip, though a bit expensive for what was included. The minibus ride was somewhat bumpy for such a long journey—I would have preferred a vehicle with better suspension. That said, Augustine’s helpfulness and professionalism more than made up for any shortcomings.
