Explore the beautiful landscapes of Boa Vista on our half-day tour. Experience sandboarding on the Morro de Arreia sanddunes, and get up close with turtles and (baby) lemon or nurse sharks in their natural habitats at Turtle Bay and Shark Bay. Morro De Areia Beach And Nature Reserve
Morro de arreia are the sanddunes located on Praia de Chaves. This is one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island. The view of the sanddunes going over into the ocean is breathtaking. This is also the location where we go sandboarding.
Praia da Varandinha
After the sanddunes we go first to the turtle bay and Shark bay. Here you can watch the turles and sharks in their natural habitat. Most turtles that can be seen are green turtles. Sometimes loggerhead turtles. At the shark bay you generally get to see lemon or nurse sharks. This is also the location where the baby sharks grow up until they are big enough before heading out to the deep waters. After the turtle bay and shark bay, we go to praia varandinha. This location is vamous for the ancient caves and where the loggerhead turtles nests during the nesting season.

5.00Picked up from hotel. The tour was a great way to see fantastic beaches. Have fun sandboarding. Seeing the turtles and completing with the tasting tour. The jeep ride is an experience in a good way The tour guide made the trip fun and we highly recommend. Very friendly and welcoming with good sense of humour. Thanks for a brilliant time!

5.00Fantastic guide who was great company as well as very informative. The sand surfing was great fun and we saw turtles swimming and a shark. Amazing beaches and plenty of time to enjoy. The tasting experience at the end was a great surprise !!!!! Really great value for money with a guide who really cares about the future of Cape Verde

4.00Because of the weather we could only see a turtle and we didn't see any sharks. For the value does not pay, but the guides were very friendly and is always a good experience

5.00It was a fun tour and that was also partly because of the cozy tour guide! She was cheerful and talked enthusiastically about the island. We have seen beautiful places and tasted nice drinks.

5.00Fantastic private tour! Very friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Picked up on time in a very comfortable air conned 4x4 (you'll see lots of other tour operators use open back vehicles, but we found it great to travel in comfort and style!) You take an exhilarating drive over the sand dunes, then to sandboarding (very fun but requires very good fitness to climb back up the slope), then driving further along to see the turtles, sharks (we didn't see any because it was too shallow and waves, but still learnt lots). Amazing caves and beach with plenty of photo opportunities - it was even better than the beach by our hotel. It was wonderful to finish off with local tasting in a quiet town. We asked lots of questions and our guide very informed to help us learn more about Cape Verde. This excursion was the highlight of our holiday and the tour guide was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend.
