Explore the beautiful landscapes of Boa Vista on our half-day tour. Experience sandboarding on the Morro de Arreia sanddunes, and get up close with turtles and (baby) lemon or nurse sharks in their natural habitats at Turtle Bay and Shark Bay. Morro De Areia Beach And Nature Reserve
Morro de arreia are the sanddunes located on Praia de Chaves. This is one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island. The view of the sanddunes going over into the ocean is breathtaking. This is also the location where we go sandboarding.
Praia da Varandinha
After the sanddunes we go first to the turtle bay and Shark bay. Here you can watch the turles and sharks in their natural habitat. Most turtles that can be seen are green turtles. Sometimes loggerhead turtles. At the shark bay you generally get to see lemon or nurse sharks. This is also the location where the baby sharks grow up until they are big enough before heading out to the deep waters. After the turtle bay and shark bay, we go to praia varandinha. This location is vamous for the ancient caves and where the loggerhead turtles nests during the nesting season.

5.00We booked the southern tour. The Guids were great, the track was sensational in terms of scenery, the stops were individual and without time pressure. Finally, a small spirits tasting in the oldest village of Boa Vista. Just brilliant all round.

5.00Veronique was a very welcoming, kind and energetic tour guide who made the excursion enjoyable and fun. She made everyone feel welcome and included. The tour driver was also so lovely and a great sandboarding instructor! The excursion was with a small group of people which was much preferred over a larger group and made the experience more unique and relaxed! We went as friends but would also recommend this trip for families, couples and solo travellers.

5.00For the money you pay, you get a lot. The transport is in the back in a 4x4 so you have fantastic views of all sal rei (bring a sweater for the end of the afternoon). The drinks at the end of the tour are a nice ending.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ What a fantastic excursion on Boa Vista! Our hostess and tour leader Lindsay was great: super friendly, enthusiastic and made everyone feel at ease immediately. The tour took us with a 4x4 jeep along narrow winding roads and through the dunes. Nice challenge was the stop on the way to try sandboarding. We have seen turtles and sharks, and the beach was really beautiful. Lindsay also offered to take pictures of us, which was very thoughtful. Finally, there was a cozy special tasting of the local drink grogue. The other people in the group were also very nice, which made the atmosphere even better. This morning was absolutely worth 5 stars for us! Unfortunately we are going home tomorrow, otherwise we would have definitely booked another tour. Highly recommended to go out with this organization 🤩

5.00This was hands down one of the best excursions we did in Boa Vista. From start to finish it was incredible. Seeing the lemon sharks up close was unreal, and spotting turtles in their natural environment was something we will never forget. Sandboarding was absolutely wicked and way more fun than expected definitely one of the most exciting parts of the day. Visiting the Love Cave and Wish Cave was also really special. Both had such a unique atmosphere and added a magical touch to the experience. We also visited what’s ranked as the 10th best beach in the world, and it genuinely lived up to its reputation crystal clear water, soft white sand, and views that looked straight out of a postcard. One of the highlights was stopping at a local village where we enjoyed some delicious traditional rum. It was such a nice cultural touch and made the experience feel authentic rather than touristy. Travelling in the open-back pickup truck made the whole adventure even better the breeze, the scenery, and the off-road driving added to the excitement and fun. A massive thank you to our guide Joshua, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel relaxed and welcome. He explained everything clearly, kept the energy high, and really made the day special. If you’re visiting Boa Vista and considering this tour book it. You won’t regret it.
