  Overall, I really enjoyed this day trip to Anguilla from St Martin. The crew were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food and drinks were also delicious and well done. This trip is less about snorkeling and more about visiting several beautiful spots off the coast of Anguilla, with time to swim and enjoy the ocean. I did not see many fish compared to other places in the Caribbean, and there were definitely no sea turtles. That said, we still had a great time, and Anguilla is absolutely gorgeous. I do not regret going at all. If your main priority is snorkeling, I would recommend one of Boomerang’s St Martin trips instead. The water was quite choppy even on a clear day, so I was glad I took Dramamine. If you are prone to seasickness, definitely take motion sickness medication beforehand. One passenger on our trip was seasick for most of the ride. The boat itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with two bathrooms, which was a nice bonus.

  I'll start this by saying I'm not a booze cruise fan...did it for my college aged kids. But, it was a lot of fun. 56 people on the Riptide boat (plus crew)...and we still had enough space. Got a late start...waited in parking lot for about 50 minutes before we got started. (many boats were leaving at same time through drawbridge at Xmas time-so took a while for Riptide to access dock). The 3 stops (2 beaches and 1 cliff jump) were beautiful. Snorkeling was not very good..cloudy water. Did see a turtle or 2 while cruising to next stop. Cliff jump was fun. Paddle boards and floating raft fun for college kids. Could jump off roof of boat at some stops which everyone enjoyed. Crew worked very hard. Drinks were (surprisingly) very good and plentiful. Lunch also very good. Best of all, they accommodated gluten free guests with grilled meat/shrimp and gluten free pasta salad. Awesome! Age range of guests..families with young kids to gray haired kids at heart. 2 adult passengers extremely late in returning from beach (crew waited and searched beach for them) and crew kept bar open for rest of guests. Needless to say, everyone waiting on boat had a blast during that extra time.. Lots of talking, dancing and bonding. Crew really worked hard. Would do trip again with this hardworking, caring, and fun crew. Thank you for gluten free food for celiac guest.

• Turtles?

  So much for turtle experience. There was never a mention of swimming with the turtles. There were no beaches with fish. So snorkeling didn’t happen. However, the beaches were beautiful, and the staff was very helpful and courteous.

  The day went well, the cocktails are good on the boat. Unfortunately, the stops are not those mentioned in the activity description here, despite perfect weather. We only made 3 stops on December 24: Little Bay (snorkeling), Maundays Bay (beach and lunch) and Rendezvous Bay (beach). We did not go to the following stops: Shoal Bay, Pricky Pear Bay, Meads Bay. It's a shame! The beaches were still beautiful with fine sand.

  You have to plan for the full day, but that is clearly positive. We really enjoyed this excursion. The day consists mainly of sailing by boat to several stops and discovering different beaches, all absolutely beautiful. On our side, we didn’t see turtles, but snorkeling was still very interesting, with lots of fish, and the beaches of Anguilla are just amazing. The crew deserves special mention: very welcoming, professional and attentive. The service is really all-inclusive, no one lacks anything and everything is well organized from start to finish. The atmosphere can be festive, but when we went out there were mostly families, which made the atmosphere very pleasant. Good music, beautiful energy, without excess. Small tip: provide your own beach accessories and, if possible, your own snorkeling equipment or what to take pictures of in the water, even if equipment is provided on board. A very nice day that we recommend without hesitation.

  Great tour of the beaches around Anguilla! Everything was organized and taken care of. We had lots of time to swim and enjoy the beaches, and the drinks/food were delicious! The crew was the best, energetic and helpful!

• Fantastic for everything but Snorkeling or Swimming with Turtles

  The snorkeling is bad. No fish. No coral. No turtles. The crew is fantastic! The cat is fantastic! The food was fantastic! And the other travelers were fantastic! A wonderful day but not if you were looking forward to snorkeling Cost is high considering no Turtle experience!

  The best #DayTrip ever. = Customer service is on point. = Food is delicious and provided at the right point. = Music flows with a Caribbean upscale party = Felt like a family VIP. = Feels like how cruises felt before they became commercialized I am already planning to go on another trip based on this trip.

  

• Nothing Beats This Trip on the Riptide with Talarny, Gervais and Oscar!

  I can't say enough good things about this trip/tour! It was the highlight of our visit to Sint Maarten. Communications with the team at Boomerang was great, and it was very easy to find the meeting point. Our trip was on the Riptide boat, which was awesome! It had a huge bar as well as plenty of places to sit, both in the shade and in the sun. The trip stopped at 4 different, pristine beaches in Anguilla, including one were we saw lots of turtles, cuttlefish and other marine wildlife while snorkeling. The open bar, with tons of options (including some of their signature drinks) was unbeatable. BBQ lunch, consisting of grilled shrimp skewers, grilled chicken skewers, greek pasta salad and garlic bread, was delicious and filling. And the crew...what can I say. Talarny, Gervais and Oscar were AMAZING! They did an amazing job taking care of everyone, as well as visiting with folks, and providing advise on things to do on Sint Maarten. Best. Crew. Ever!
