Plan for about 2 hours and listen to the speakers. You can spend more time but 2 hours was plenty to fit in tours of the house, farm, former slave quarters as well as speakers and walking the grounds.

If you love and appreciate history and culture, then you will enjoy this place! Lots of walking. Not very wheelchair friendly, but you can borrow one when there. The guides are so nice and helpful. We enjoyed every minute and especially the scenery. Very well worth the money. Give yourself time to see everything. The cafe is also reasonably priced and very cute.we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
