  My husband and I did this excursion on last day in Cartagena but was hesitant based on some of the reviews but we are so happy we took our chances. It was very relaxing experience and extremely organized. I am not sure why some of the reviews said the guide only spoke Spanish because that was not our experience because everything was said in both Spanish and English.

• Okay, but I'd expect them to at least have showers.

  The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and overall we get exactly what the package says. The prices inside the place did not seem really expensive. The score of 3 is because there were at least 150 people on the day we went and there were only three toilets for women and 3 for men, as they are not well marked, the men occupied any and left everything dirty, which further limited the toilets for women until they did cleaning again. The place has no showers! After spending the day at sea, I wish I could rinse the sea salt, but no watering cans were available. Returning in the afternoon, the sea was in stronger waves and the motorboat was jumping a lot, and until we were about to leave we were warned that pregnant and people with spinal problems could be at risk!

  I’m very disappointed with my experience at Bora Bora today. There was a clear misunderstanding with our lunch, which was supposed to be included in the price we paid. Unfortunately, the staff were not helpful at all in resolving the issue. After much back and forth, we were left with a meal we did not order (pasta with a few pieces of seafood), and when it finally arrived, it was cold. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of effort from the team to find a solution or even acknowledge the mistake. It was a frustrating and disappointing way to spend our last day in Colombia, especially at a place that promotes itself as a premium experience. Overall it was an okay experience. Beds were nice but everything is upsold. Drinks and food are very pricey and you need to leave at 3. The photo attached is the “seafood pasta” we didn’t want

  It was such a fun experience, everyone /staff was so friendly. Great energy, great vibes! Eonth was great and very attentive too! I would visit again.

  The place is nice, but you are charged extra to use the beds on the beachfront, even if you buy the VIP package, I found it excessive, almost all the beds on the front row were empty all day, there is no significant difference between the VIP package and the normal one. It has no beach, the day we went there was a lot of swell and the waves crashed against the wall, there was no going down to the sand and you had to be swimming all the time, you could not relax in the sea.The armchairs that are next to the sea also can not be used, they are charged extra. Overall I find that they overcharge and the beach was not quiet. It is to go to lie listening to music, and since you do not pass the beds in front you can hardly see the sea.They have good facilities but charge you extra to use them and in the end they get lost. Good food and drinks. I wouldn't go again.

  Very nice day, Bora Bora was the best facility we found in Isla del Rosario, and Juan Bles very friendly in his attention.

  Tour was poorly organised, was not able to reach tour operator via message to clarify any details and instructions for meeting point were minimal and didn’t advise which gate at the boat dock we needed to go to (had to ask locals to find out exactly where we needed to go). The day we attended it was a little windy which meant the water that everyone can swim in was quite choppy and dangerous at some points, with no option to use the pool on the premises as that is reserved for hotel guests only (this was not advised to us prior to doing tour). If the day you are going it is going to be windy, you will be stuck just using the day bed all day without option for going into water - be aware. Service was very poor, we had our waiter introduce himself to us advising he would be looking after us - we were there for 6 hours and he came to us once. Every other time I had to chase up some staff to make an order and even then, multiple times had to ask a second time because they had forgot or never noted it down in first place. Included lunch was not bad, but we weren’t told that we had to go to a lunch area to redeem it, we were waiting on day beds until we noticed everyone else leaving. If you are English speaking they leave you in the dark a bit and you are left to figure things out yourself or ask other travellers that might be able to translate for you. The resort itself is nice, once you put aside the fact that service is poor and there is no pool to utilise, also that you have to walk past a garbage ridden island to get to in the first place. For the money that it cost to to simply attend this beach club, I don’t think it is worth it and money can be best spent elsewhere on Boca grande beach instead in Cartagena.
