Borobudur Temple

You will become guests priority climb to the top Borobudur temple This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The monument was restored with UNESCO's help in the 1970s. Highlighting the stone reliefs and the many faces of Buddha.

Prambanan Temples

See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them.

    The Ramayat ballet was awesome - it really is a spectacle and I would suggest a bit of effort is made to ensure you get good seats. Unfortunately, part of Borobudur was closed since due to a governmental visit so we couldn't go to the top but Prambanan temple area is very interesting too.

    We did our tour with Hijba!! Absolutely fantastic experience and memorable day! On time pick up and Hijba was absolutely amazing throughout! He made sure we get all the information before reaching each place! And he also made sure we get good and delicious vegetarian food! 10++ Stars for Hijba’s kindness and hospitality! Both the temples and the Ramayana Ballet Show was great! The visit to these places are a must!

    Adit was a fantastic driver and guide for our trips to Borobudur and Prambanan. He graciously and thoughtfully answered our many questions about Indonesian culture and history, the city of Yogyakarta, and the temples. We asked to stop for Kopi Luwak and shop for Batik and he found excellent local shops around our route. We also expressed interest in trying local food, and he took us to a warung along the route for delicious lamb Sate. He even helped us plan a biking trip in a village near Yogya the following day. Overall, we had a fantastic, memorable day, and we would highly recommend requesting Adit as your guide.

    Our guide Hibza was excellent! He was on time to pick us up and drived us safely to our destinations. During the tour we had a lit of fun, listened to music, laughed, and he made this tour a great experience! He gave us plenty of information and he was helpful to everything we needed. We would love to cooperate with him again!
