We had John Hancock and he was absolutely fantastic! If there is more than one John Hancock, our guide was middle aged, had dark hair and was shorter in stature. John Hancock was extremely knowledgeable and knew a lot of fun facts. He connected the different sites beautifully. I’m a teacher, and was a 4th grader in 1976, so I know my Revolution! He made sure that everyone was comfortable, had fun and learned. He was so engaging, my 15 year old daughter decided that we should walk the rest of the Freedom Trail on our own, instead of shopping. We even visited more sites in the evening, because he got her so interested in the time period!!! She’s a good student, but to go to Paul Revere’s house instead of Glossier; John Hancock deserves a medal! If we had time, we would have taken another tour from your company, and certainly will next time we are visiting. This was our first time in Boston (we live in NYC), and the tour was the absolute highlight!

My husband and I took part in the tour with “Elizabeth Goose”. She was born in Boston and knew so much! She explained the history of Boston and its founding fathers in a fun and easy way and you can tell she really loves her city. We walked all the way down to the North End and ended the tour at Paul Revere’s house. We would def recommend this tour!

Francis did a great job going with the flow and educating the group that had a few neurodivergent attendees. He was knowledgeable and answered questions with ease. His voice is loud and was easy to hear and understand. What a great way to see Boston!

Interesting facts. We loved how engaging our guide was. It would have been nicer to have a smaller group. It was a bit unwieldy. Also, our kids (age 10 and 13) didn’t really like it. They thought it was too long and weren’t that interested in the facts, even though the 10 year old just learned about the American Revolution in school. It was also really cold so they weren’t comfortable.
