We are Located right in Maun, our experience blends cultural education, animal connection, and peaceful nature. Guests don’t just ride camels—they meet them, feed them, and learn their stories. With a locally owned curio shop featuring camel-themed crafts, and warm, personalized hospitality, we provide a one-of-a-kind activity that can’t be found anywhere else in the region.

At Okavango Camel Rides, your adventure begins with a warm welcome from our friendly team and an introduction to our gentle camels, where You’ll learn fun facts about camels. Next, you’ll enjoy a 1-kilometer guided camel ride, where you’ll gently sway through our peaceful bush setting. After the ride, you’ll have a chance to feed and pet the camels.

5.00The family enjoyed the experience. Great time spent in the afternoon. The camels are well trained and the staff gave a great history of the place and it’s very inspiring. Can’t wait to see the the baby camels when they’re born.
Quiet an interesting place to visit.I got more knowledge on camels lives.

5.00We had the best experience the staff was so welcoming and amazing..we paid P400.00,P350 for camel ride and P100 for camel interaction . The length of the visit was 1hour

5.00Not far from the city centre and i liked that a small car can easily access the place.the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also the camels were clean and well behaved.i had the best exprience and definitely am coming back again

5.00We rang last minute but the lady made sure she squeeze us in the service was excellent and really made our holiday so memorable after a busy week we had renovating our house this was the right thing to do to unwind and explore the forest on camels back it was more than an adventure my girls were delighted and am looking forward to book this again on our next holidays as we don’t have such animals here in Ireland… I still remember how I called the other camel Narasharaa as its Wayei greetings, so amazing

5.00From the moment we arrived at the camp, the experience was nothing short of magical. The staff greeted us with warm smiles setting the tone for an authentic and exciting journey. The camel ride itself was absolutely breathtaking. As we gently swayed atop these majestic animals, we traversed into the horizon. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the camels Bayei culture. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the ride.

5.00We had such a wonderful time as a family on the camel rides! The staff were warm and engaging, and it was a joy to interact not just with them but also with the camels themselves. We learned so much about how the camels live, how they were brought to the farm, and how they’ve been carefully acclimatized to their environment. The most commendable part of the entire experience is how clearly animal welfare comes first. The health, comfort, and daily routine of the camels are the absolute priority, and you can see the care and respect that goes into looking after them. A small tip — don’t be late for your booking! The rides take place earlier in the day because once it gets hot, the camels rest. This ensures their wellbeing is never compromised, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended for families, cute dates and anyone looking for a unique, affordable, responsible, and fun experience.
