At Saklıkent National Park, you’ll explore one of the deepest canyons in the world, carved by icy mountain waters. Stroll along wooden walkways suspended above the rushing river, enjoy the refreshing spray from the turquoise stream, and admire the stunning rock formations towering above you. During your free time here, you can wander deeper into the canyon at your own pace, or choose optional activities such as rafting and zip-lining for an extra dose of adventure. Alternatively, relax at riverside cafés with your feet dipped in the fresh mountain flow. Please note that zipline and rafting activities are optional and come with additional fees.
Gizlikent Selalesi
At Gizlikent Waterfall, enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time surrounded by breathtaking nature. Savor a delicious open buffet lunch featuring two main options—fish or chicken—accompanied by fresh salads and mezes. During your free time, you can choose to relax and admire the magnificent waterfall or take part in thrilling optional activities such as zip-lining and rafting. This experience offers the perfect balance of nature, adventure, and delicious local cuisine. Please note that zipline and rafting activities are optional and come with additional fees.

5.00The excursion took place in a small group with 6 participants as described in the call for proposals. Our tour guide Mehmet spoke sees easy to understand English. The first stop was the worth seeing ancient city of Tlos. Our guide’s remarks were very detailed and interesting, showing us the times of the basilica, the old baths, city life in the agora and around the amphitheatre, and the rock tombs. From there we continued to Saklıkent National Park with its picturesque gorge, which is well developed for tourism and can be easily walked. Not far from the gorge is the Gizlikent waterfall, which is only accessible via about 200 steps and a 200 m long walk through a knee-deep, flowing stream. This absolutely requires a certain amount of fitness, as natural obstacles must be overcome. The strongly recommended bathing shoes can be rented for a small fee. The waterfall offers a great photo motif and is worth the effort. The helpfulness and patience of our guide was commendable, even to help participants with lower fitness. The slightly late lunch at the Gizlikent waterfall was good. The full day trip is highly recommended. Thanks to our very competent guide Mehmet Hayıt, who made the trip a great experience.

5.00Mehmet was punctual and navigated the traffic and road work with ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. As big history needs, we often ask questions guides aren't able to answer, which was not the case here. He climbed every rock, and waded through the water with us. He also takes great pics, so don't hesitate to ask him to capture your group! We plan on coming back to Turkey next year, and will definitely be booking another tour with Mehmet.

Our tour guide Mehmet was fantastic, he is very knowledgable and explained everything to us. He also looked after the whole group very well which was very much appreciated. 5.00We had a wonderful day with Mehmet, who guided us throughout the day with his extensive knowledge and perfect English, giving us a deeper understanding of the history and culture of his homeland. It was our first time visiting Turkey, and we gained valuable new perspectives and insights. The travel agency also runs tours in the mid-season with no minimum number of participants and in very small groups – which meant that we, as a family, enjoyed a private tour. An experience we wouldn't want to miss!
