Once you see it in person, you will understand why this castle is a symbol of Romanian tourism and why it is the most visited tourist attraction in Romania.

Nicolas is very nice, kind and good at various explanations. The tour was very nice, perfectly organized. Seeing Bran Castle lit up in the evening was spectacular.

Beautiful day in the company of the excellent Nicolas, very nice and always attentive to our every need! The places visited are really worth it and the Christmas atmosphere made everything even more beautiful; Peles Castle is a real gem! Absolutely recommended.
Lots of driving, but a very nice day was had.

Bran Castle was to be the highlight of our tour due to it being known as “Dracula’s Castle”, but the tour itself encapsulated many things that we really enjoyed. Dom was punctual, pleasant informative and a safe driver. We were loaded in and off we went with Dom providing us some early intel on the places we were to see and some back history as well. First stop was Peles Castle. Peles is a more modern castle with electricity from inception. The main attraction of the castle was that the majority of the collection inside was actual versus most palaces that have replicas. Early on, another BAD tour guide assaulted Dom verbally, making both tour uncomfortable, but Dom handed the situation well and professionally and moved us away from the loser tour guide. Dom shared good intel and we enjoyed our time at the castle. Later, Dom helped guide us to the “best spots” for some photo ops. We loaded up and went to Sinaia Monastery. Two monasteries are actually there, both rather small, but Dom shared good intel about the place and the monks that life there. Dom let us know that we would be in the vicinity of “Nevermore” academy from the Netflix series “Wednesday”. It was a little whompy for parking, but Dom had us covered and we got some good shots; a much-appreciated stop. We then arrived at Brasov and Dom provided good intel about the location and offered up a very good German restaurant. Only caveat was at the restaurant they had some kind of wonky card reader, so we had to pay in cash. It wasn’t a big deal as Dom knew where there was a good, safe ATM and we loaded our pockets back up, because the ladies had to have their Gelato’s! Next, we arrived at Bran Castle. Bran is deemed “Dracula’s castle” primarily because it is the only castle that fits Bram Stokers description (though he had never had been to Transylvania) and it did have a history with the Dracul family. Nice castle, of course rather touristy trap kind of setting, but it is what it is and we were there. After that Dom delivered us safe and sound to our hotel. We recommend this tour.
