Our first destination is the tourist town of Sinaia, where Peles Castle is located. To get there we must go trough Prahova Valley, leaving behind elegant mountain resorts Predeal, Azuga and Busteni which are continuously attracting a high number of Romanian and foreign tourists, on the road that crosses the whirling Prahova River. Breathtaking natural beauty is opened in front of your eyes but the most spectacular view is from Busteni where you can admire the highest peaks of the Bucegi Mountains: Caraiman Peak, Costila Peak and Omu Peak. Arrive in Sinaia, once an exclusive aristocratic resort, where we visit Peles Castle, the summer residence of the former Romanian royal family. Peles Castle is one of the most beautiful museums in Romania and was built in almost 40 years by King Charles 1.

5.00A wonderful day trip! Bogdan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Peleş Castle was fascinating and we were able to skip the line. Bran Castle no longer allows guides to take groups through, but Bogdan gave us plenty of interesting information on the drive to the castle. The fortress is still under renovation, but provides a great view, and is still worth the stop.

5.00Let me start with our guide, Bogdan going above and beyond. My mom is 80 and needed to take a break towards the end of the day. Bogdan insisted I continue and he would take care of my mom. He made sure she had a Coke, a snack and a comfortable place to sit. She was blown away by his kindness, I will forever grateful for the care he took. The tour was fascinating, so fun. Much history mixed with wonderful stories. I only wish we were in the area longer to do more of Bogdan’s tours

5.00Bogdan was such an awesome guide today- I learned so much. He picked us up and was immediately lovely and we loved his vibe. Every Castle was amazing. He taught us about the history in such a fun way. My friend and I are currently having a cocktail and we are still talking about it. I highly recommend the tour with Bogdan.

5.00Absolutely fantastic day out with Mioara. She was a fantastic guide. So down to earth and knowledgeable. The castles and views throughout the day were incredible. Especially Peles, what a feast for the eyes! We were also lucky enough to stumble upon a festival where Mioara helped us choose some delicious local food. We had an amazing day. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you
