This was a great way to experience some of Brisbane. The commentary shared while on board was interesting and let us learn a bit about the city. The vessel itself was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was great! We had enough time without feeling rushed and it was fun learning about all the animals and having some cute photos with the koalas and kangaroos.

Great river cruise and even greater visit to the koala sanctuary. Lots of koala, plus falcon, owl, snakes, kangaroo, emu, crocs, sheep and birds. Food available. You can feed the kangaroos.

Difficult place to find and I had to ask for directions three times. Other travelers that I met on the boat had similar experiences. The koala sanctuary was very nice and similar to one that I visited while in Sydney. Definitely worthwhile if you want to see animals that are not all caged. There were koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and many more animals to see. Worthwhile trip that will only take part of your day.

The ferry taking you to the sanctuary is worth while . There is some good explanations about everything around . You can buy food / drinks on the boat . The sanctuary is great .
