Excellent day out in Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Riverboat trip there was lovely and guide was telling interesting stories along the way. Sanctuary itself is so beautiful and there is lots to see.

Seamless, easy-going trip with very clear guidance and no worries to be had. The sanctuary is so much fun and has endless opportunities to get up close to all the Australian wildlife you want to see and photograph. Would recommend!

Great day trip. Very scenic and informative trip on the river. Fantastic Captain. Will do it again when returning with family members. The Lone Pine Park is a wonderful way to spend the day.

We enjoyed our cruise very much. Unfortunately, due to timing issues from our ship docking, we were unable to make the trip up to the sanctuary, but did make the return cruise. The sanctuary was a very good visit and provided us with the most options to view koalas as well as kangaroos. The facility was very clean and the staff friendly. We managed to see other unique animals to Australia including tree kangaroos, platypus, Tasmanian Devil, and wombats. All in all the visit was very informative and enjoyable. Our only regret was that it was impossible to make the morning departure time being too early to disembark from a cruise ship and make it through Sydney morning traffic in a Taxi or an Uber like we tried. Not to mention it ended up costing us a large additional fee for the Uber to the sanctuary rather than the cruise boat, which we tried for first. Perhaps the cruise line could possibly shoot for a later departure by a half hour? And unfortunately, the morning cruise up to the sanctuary is when all descriptions were given about the surrounding area and landmarks. Nothing was said on the return cruise. Fortunately, others who had made the up river cruise in the morning, were willing to point out things that they remembered. I would definitely recommend this cruise trip if purchaser can insure that they can make it to the cruise lines’ morning departure spot in a timely manner. Otherwise, just visiting the sanctuary on your own is well worth it.

If you enjoy getting up close and personal with the animals this is the place to go. River boat cruise was very nice with explanation of waterway and little history of Brisbane. The highlight of the day is the Lone Pine park with at least a hundred koalas and just as many kangaroos that you can pet and feed. A beautiful day throughout. Highly recommend this tour to everyone and all ages!
