This day trip tour(with hotel pick up and drop off in downtown Guangzhou) will let you explore Foshan city, the hometown of Bruce Lee, which is around 1.5 hours driving to the west of Guangzhou. Here's what you can do in this tour:
1) Visit the museum of Ip-man, the master of Bruce Lee, get an idea of how Foshan city fostered many Kungfu stars and their life, history and influence to the world;
2) Watch the Kungfu show by professional masters and apprentices from martial art school;
3) Watch the traditional Chinese culture-Lion Dance by professional performers;
4) Lunch at a local restaurant to try the delicious Foshan cuisine;
5) Visit ancient Chinese classic garden to enjoy the beautiful green landscape by specially planted trees as well as southern Chinese style architecture;
6) Visit Nanfeng Ancient Kiln to learn about the ceramic/porcelain production culture, history and handcraft art.

5.00We chose the 10-hour tour, and our guide was Damon, who was very polite, helpful at everything, and very explanatory in the places we went to see. It was a fantastic experience, and an opportunity to see places that maybe alone would be difficult enough to see. He also took on ordering us at a Cantonese restaurant we went to, a menu of food that was just perfect. Damon proved to be the best choice for this tour and we were delighted to have spent this time with him with his humble character. Thank you very much Damon for the experience and information you gave us about the culture and culture of China, which we did not know. Peter and Elena

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the tour. Damien was informative knowledgeable polite and attentive. He was ever helpful and insightful. The itinerary was satisfying and Damien took extra pains to select a fine restaurant in Foshan's Xintiandi for lunch tailored and curated to what we wanted, raw fish delight and ice sweet and sour pork. The MPV which served as our transport was clean and ever punctual. The driver was excellent and safety conscious. We were picked up at our hotel on time and Damien shared interesting nuggets of local history along the way. Highly recommended. A good time was had by all.

5.00It was a good experience to explore the cultural side of Foshan in half a day. The city is made known by the infamous Kung Fu master, Ip Man who is a native of Foshan and also the ancestral home to Bruce Lee. Our visit to the martial art academy and watching the performance surprises us that many young talents had continue to pursue and preserve Kung Fu in this modern age. Our private tour was guided by Damon. He is an excellent English and native speaking guide, and with his vast knowledge and easy going personality, the tour was a breeze. Damon also introduced us to the origins of the Shude cuisine in Foshan city and the food were indeed commendable. As we stayed in Guangzhou, Damon also went the extra mile to share good places to dine and shop in Guangzhou too. Overall the tour to Foshan was good even though we have a feedback for the martial arts academy, that they should provide more covered seatings or standing areas for their audiences especially in such intense heat weather. But other than that, Damon is definitely an excellent choice as a guide. We highly recommend him if you like a more personal tour customized to your pace, time and preference.

5.00Damon was very knowledgeable about the city: the best time to visit certain places to avoid Traffic and crowds, or the best place to eat to fully understand the city culture. The lion dance performance was really interesting, so is the huang fei hong and ip man museum. Truly insightful to read about these iconic masters apart from mainstream movies
