I booked this canyoning experience as a Christmas gift for my son (17), hoping he would enjoy the challenge and introduce him to the great outdoors. It turned out to be one of the best adventures we've shared. From booking to meeting our guides, Mike and Joe, everything was easy. The drive to Loch Trool was beautiful, and gave us a taste of the scenery that awaited us. As we arrived we were greeted by a friendly Mike and Joe and given a thorough safety briefing that immediately put us at ease. We were kitted out in wetsuits and harnesses which was quick and well-organized, and before we knew it, we were off on a short walk to start the adventure. The walk built up the excitement, and then it was straight into the canyoning. Mike and Joe were fantastic, really friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their guidance throughout the abseils, slides, and jumps was bang on, and we felt safe and supported the whole day. It was perfect balance between adrenaline and personal challenge. It pushed us just enough to feel that we accomplished something, but without ever feeling out of our depth. My son absolutely loved it, and so did I. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for that wee bit of adrenaline fuelled day out and to get out and about in nature and the hills of the Galloway Forrest.

Had an absolute blast doing the full day canyoning. Mike and Joe were awesome and made sure the whole experience was spot on. The jumps/slides were amazing we enjoyed every minute. Well worth the 6 hour drive and no doubt we’ll be back to try Murray’s canyon. Thanks again! Jay and Mick.

Having done Murray's canyon our 15 year old joined Mike again to try Murray's canyon. Again he had a fantastic time and talks with genuine passion about what they were doing and what he was being told. Mile's personal skills are excellent. He's now looking forward to try Talla canyon when we are in the area again.
