Your day tour includes a guided tour of Cape Bruny Lighthouse, exclusive to Bruny Island Safaris. Take in the views from the Truganini Lookout at The Neck and other scenic lookouts throughout the day. Tastings of honey, chocolate and fudge are also included at Bruny Island Chocolate Co and Bruny Island Honey.
This tour is the perfect well-rounded experience of Bruny Island, highlighting the incredible scenery, wildlife, history and tasty local produce. Our own Managing Director, Craig Parsey, spent some of his childhood at Cape Bruny Lighthouse when his father was the Lighthouse Keeper. Our tours have been designed by Craig, providing a true local insight into Bruny Island.

SeaLink Bruny Island Ferry
Take the Sealink ferry from Kettering across to Bruny Island. This is a short 10-15 minute ferry ride across the stunning D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
The Neck
Climb the 279 stairs to the Truganini Lookout at The Neck for one of the best views on Bruny Island. Please note: there is a lookout after 53 stairs or a flat boardwalk walk out to the beach for those guests who do not wish to walk up all the stairs.

5.00I knew as soon as Jimmy picked us up with the bus, this trip was going to be great. His friendly greeting made us feel comfortable right away. And he continued to impress with his local knowledge and story telling, ensuring everyone was happy. From the fresh oysters, local cheese and stunning scenery, we couldn't have asked for a better day. To top it off he kindly drove us to out new accommodations, which was a welcome relief after such a big day. Well done. Would do it again for sure

5.00Saint Summer Blossom (Dave) was the host with the most cheesy sweet jokes. Dave was good fun, having a good vibe all day with passengers, full of information, recommendations and good banter. Dave was informative when doing stops, lunch and morning tea. The day itself was well organised with locations chosen all being good. Maybe a tour of the cheese factory could be on the cards in the future?.? All in all, was a great day exploring Bruny Island and would recommend #brunyislandsafaris

5.00Excellent. Ideal for those who love short walks/climbs to fantastic views interspersed with great local food. Highlights were morning tea on the beach with fresh bread, local cheese and the fattest oysters I've ever had (from Get Shucked), Bruny lighthouse and the walk outside around the top, and our fabulous guide Jimmy who was informative as only a local can be and entertaining to boot. This trip is well worth it.

3.00I think be good to be able to explore the oyster place and see how things work. Same with cheese factory. I feel it was a very very very long day and alot of driving for just the lighthouse. The lunch was yummy. Not much room on the bus. Leg room is limited. But then the drive and the hour wait nearly for ferry was not great. Saying that out guide was great and deserves a huge praise. Not sure worth the money compared to all the other tours we have been on since been here.

5.00Enjoyed a fantastic day seeing the highlights of Bruny Island with Dave our tour guide. Ticked all the bucket list must see and do. Hubby enjoyed the rest from driving. Dave was an excellent guide. Morning tea and lunch tasty with local produce. Lucky to view the cute white wallaby. Well worth the cost of this tour.

5.00Had a fantastic day on Bruny Island with guide Jimmy from Bruny Island Safari Tours. Jimmy was funny, informative, and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. Learned so much about the island while having plenty of laughs. The oysters and cheese were delicious! Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bruny Island. Thanks Jimmy!

5.00What a fantastic tour. Our guide Dave was excellent, very funny and informative. Even though I am a local girl, I would leave your car behind and join this tour, was lovely to sit back and relax. Morning tea with Bruny island cheeses on fresh crunchy bread, Oysters (plenty for all) tea/coffee and lunch at the pub. The tour up to the top of the light house was a highlight, the views are spectacular. Could not help but buy some of the Bruny island produce after the tastings. Highly recommend this tour, was a great day out. Sue
