Take in the views from the Truganini Lookout at The Neck and other scenic lookouts throughout the day. Tastings of honey, chocolate and fudge are also included at Bruny Island Chocolate Co and Bruny Island Honey.
This tour is the perfect well-rounded experience of Bruny Island, highlighting the incredible scenery, wildlife, history and tasty local produce. Our own Managing Director, Craig Parsey, spent some of his childhood at Cape Bruny Lighthouse when his father was the Lighthouse Keeper. Our tours have been designed by Craig, providing a true local insight into Bruny Island.

SeaLink Bruny Island Ferry
Take the Sealink ferry from Kettering across to Bruny Island. This is a short 10-15 minute ferry ride across the stunning D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
The Neck
Climb the 279 stairs to the Truganini Lookout at The Neck for one of the best views on Bruny Island. Please note: there is a lookout after 53 stairs or a flat boardwalk walk out to the beach for those guests who do not wish to walk up all the stairs.

5.00A wonderful day seeing Bruny Island. Nigel was an excellent host providing a great morning tea on the beach and a wealth of information about the island’s history. The light house was spectacular, lunch delicious and most of all he got us back despite the ferry being broken. Thank you Nigel!

5.00I was the only one on the tour as it was the first tour of the day. Later tours were booked out. Get there early. Guide had vast knowledge of the Lighthouse and surrounding area.

5.00Andy our tour guide was excellent and provided constant commentary and interesting facts throughout the day. We highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky you will get Andy as your tour guide. By the way, it’s very windy and cold at the lighthouse, dress warm.

5.00Wonderful overview of Bruny Island; wonderful day with Jimmy as our driver guide. He has so much knowledge and is very accommodating. We saw 5 white wallabys as well as echidnas and a myriad of bird species. The roads are narrow and winding but Jimmy was a good driver and totally enjoyed our day.

4.00Loved the oysters and the lighthouse tour. We didn't have the best weather but it was still a beautiful place. It was a nice combination of experiencing the flora and fauna of Bruny Island along with some good food. Our guide Nigel seemed a bit detached from the information he shared as part of our tour.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Bruny Island Tours. Our guide, Jimmy, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and full of personality. His great sense of humour kept everyone entertained throughout the day, and he shared lots of interesting stories and information about the island that really added to the experience. The food was excellent, with plenty of opportunities to try local produce. Oysters, chocolate, bread, cheese and lunch. The highlight for us was the lighthouse tour — the views were absolutely breathtaking and it was such a special part of the day. It is a long day, but Jimmy’s energy, humour, and the variety of stops make it fly by. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Hobart and want to experience the best of Bruny Island
