Autoworld

Autoworld museum features more than 250 vehicles on permanent display, other than holding temporary exhibitions throughout the year that take on various automotive themes. The permanent collection includes models such as a 1928 Bentley, a 1930 Bugatti and a 1930 Cord and several limousines which belonged to the Belgian royal family. Follow motocar's fabulous history and see all types of vehicles, ranging from cars and trucks to motorcycles, from the early 19th century models to contemporary cars. Located in the center of Brussels, in the southern hall of the Cinquantenaire Park, the museum is housed in 19th century historic building built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Kingdom of Belgium.

Car loving partner was in heaven with over two hundred cars and bikes on display. Well displayed, very informative audio guide. Not too expensive to enter. Facility can also be used as a venue for business activity Bonus is that it is near a stunning old gate and a beautiful park.

Great place to visit even if you're not hugely into cars like myself, my hubby really wanted to visit but I'm glad I went too... loads of models to see!

While I do not have a particular interest in cars, I chose to visit Autoworld and I am very glad that I did. The museum documents the evolution of automobiles and motorcycles through an extensive collection. It also hosts temporary exhibitions, and I had the opportunity to visit the one focused on Japanese cars and motorcycles. Each item on display in accompanied by information in French, Dutch, and English. My favorite part of the museum was the collection of cars from the early 1900s. Recommended!

Beautiful collection of cars (journey taking us through the history of the automobile)! An excellent focus on motorcycles (including Belgian manufacturers, FN, Gillet, Salorea).

So many old cars! And new cars! And motorcycles! If you like vintage cars you should go. If you like motorcycles you get to see a bunch of old Belgian racing motorcycles. The Big in Japan temporary exhibit is wonderful too. If you like cars go (and go even if you don't, this might just change your mind).

In this exhibition hall that is part of the Cinquantenaire Park, anyone with a little interest in cars and motorcycles can indulge themselves. The museum is open on Sundays unlike most museums! You can leave your own 'tuuttuut'' in one of the # parking garages in the spacious area. If you have a museum pass you can enter for free but they also have silver & gold passes for those who come regularly which is interesting given the temporary exhibitions that are organized. Special is the separate hall with royal vehicles. When we were there, there was a special around Citroën's iconic DS. A little ''wisjedatje'' learned here that the DS was also manufactured for a time in Belgium especially on the site where until recently the VW / Audi factory was in Brussels ( Frost ) itself. It was a slimmed-down model called ID19 with less luxury for the Belgian and Dutch markets. Another kudos to the welcome that was perfectly bilingual when we were kindly received there which is not evident in Brussels today.

This visit was great ⭐️ We had a great time! The cars are beautiful 😍 and so are the locals. The price remains reasonable for the visit.
