  A bike tour is a great way to get to know a city. It was a pleasure to spend a few hours biking through Brussels with Ranaat. He was kind, personable, and insightful. The bike ride was exciting as we navigated safely through a busy city. Ranaat shared information that helped me better understand the history and present day Brussels.

  This is an excellent cycling tour. Our guide Renard was so informative and interesting about historical and current aspects of his lovely home city. The variety of places visited was fabulous, definitely ‘Hidden Gems’ as we would never have discovered them ourselves or learnt so much about them. Tours and Taxis was one of my favourites where we had our coffee break in the beautifully renovated customs train station. As it is a city tour and Brussels is a lively spot, the ability to deal with traffic is an important requirement. Renard was a superb ride leader and we felt confident following him through the busier section of the ride as he gave clear oral instructions and hand signals. As there was only our small group of four friends on the tour, there was no time pressure from us and our tour ended up being almost four hours long. It was certainly the Highlight of our visit to Brussels.

  My wife and I were the only 2 people booked on the English speaking tour on a cold January morning, but rather than cancel due to lack of numbers, it still went ahead. We had our very own private tour with Renaat. It couldn’t have been any better, Renaat is extremely knowledgable on the history of Brussels, brought us to places we never even knew existed, and also as we were in no rush, and neither was Renaat, we even go an extension beyond the usual times! Rating with 5 stars, only because there isn’t a much higher rating!! Superb, thank you so much team for a memorable day out.

  When myself and my husband arrived to do this tour it turned out to be only the two of us who had booked the tour for this particular date. We met our guide Renaat and he was just the perfect guide. He looked after us so well on the tour. He is so knowledgeable on the history of Brussels. We thoroughly enjoyed Renaat's company.

  Had a great time, saw things that we would never have seen in Brussels had we not been on the tour. Renaud was interesting and knowledgeable and it was great value for money.

  We had chosen the bike ride "The must-sees and unusual places of Brussels". This walk proposed by Cactus is great, very interesting thanks to the many comments of Philippe our guide. It allows you to discover places you would never have gone alone. To do without hesitation!

  Fabulous tour! The freedom to look around whilst the guide does the navigating, and interesting tales along the way. We learnt so much about Brussels and its history (beyond waffles and beer!) It was the highlight of our mini break. Highly recommended.

  An interesting and informative ride around some of Brussels less visited but important locations. I learned much more about the city, its citizens and organisation than expected, all delivered with a light and often humorous touch. Our guide (Reynaart) obviously loves his city and knows it well. We were a group of six. Bikes were well maintained. Helmets are available. The vast majority of riding is on designated cycleways. Cactus is a non-profit and guides are volunteers. I highly recommend supporting this worthwhile venture.
