This small-group walking tour gives you an intimate experience of Brussels. An informative guide leads you through the historical center and its main historical sites including Grand Place, City Hall, Royal Galeries, Cathedral, Manneken Pis, Royal Square and Mont-des-Arts.
The tour will begin with a waffle tasting, along with coffee or tea.
During this visit, you will learn more about the historical background and how this young city acquired such a prominent role in Europe. You will be introduced to the Belgian culture and its gastronomy. A tasting of Belgian finest chocolate and waffle will be the icing on the cake!
You will discover Brussels away from the busy crowds and in a much more personable way. The walk ends at the Royal Square with an astonishing view on the city. Walking straight down the Mont-des-Arts you will reach back the Grand Place.
At the end, a short information session is held and many personal advices are given according to your indiviual needs.

Grand Place
Our guide will meet you right in front of the main gate of the City Hall. From there he will guide you around the square to describe and decode the symbols on the different facades : City Hall, King's House, House of the Dukes and many other important houses that hosted important names like Victor Hugo or Karl Marx.
Why this fountain of a peeing boy became so important does not always make sense. While you enjoy a warm waffle, our guide will explain to you all the history beyond this mysterious boy. Despite its disappointing size, you will start to like him and also value our Belgian mentally.

5.00Walking tour covered most of the downtown historic district highlights with the right amount of facts, local color and whimsy. Our guide (Clemens?) was wonderful and spoke excellent English. The chocolate and waffle were a delightful small treat to keep us going. The only point is that the tour can be a bit arduous for those who are older/unfit because a good deal of Brussels is uphill!
Great tour to see the key sites of the city.

5.00Clemenns was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide, provided great insight into the city and culture. We saw lots of the key sights of Brussels, and the waffles/chocolate were very good. It is a 3 hour tour, with lots of walking but would definitely recommend if you are new to the city.

5.00A must! My friends and I enjoyed the tour much more than we expected. We appreciated all the insightful information about the history of Brussels. It was perfect, not too mundane and the tour guide did a great job of keeping us engaged! I felt like I saw most of Brussels within the two hour timeframe. Highly recommend!

3.00It was primarily a walking historical tour and we were expecting a food tour, which usually is MUCH less walking and also we get to sit and enjoy various tastings.
Fun for parents and teens alike.
