This private full day tour will offer you the opportunity to visit Bucharest's most important landmarks and its surroundings. The city, once called "Little Paris" will welcome you with its "Belle Époque" perfume in the restored Old City center with 17th Century old churches and Palaces built in French style. But also make sure you witness the contrasts of the buildings/churches mentioned with the communist blocks and the very modern glass sky scrapers in the business office areas.
We shall visit the inside of the famous Palace of Parliament and the Village Museum and also Snagov Monastery, where Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) is thought to be buried. Our tour includes the Mogosoaia Palace, built by Prince Constantin Brancoveanu between 1698 -1702.

5.00This was our first time in Romania. The one day tour covered everything we wanted to cover and more. Both in the capital and also outside. Our guide Bogdan made the whole difference! He was very knowledgeable, calm, informative, friendly and he made us fall in love with Bucharest. We will be back!

I took this tour as a solo female traveling the country alone and he made me feel very welcome and we were able to talk about culture, the arts and his family. I highly recommend him to introduce you to Bucharest. Having over 25 years of customers experience myself in a different industry, I know the value of service when I see it. Katalin picked me up on time, communicated with me throughout the planning stages, and made the trip special by going off the beaten path to appease my love for the arts. 5.00Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were picked up at our hotel which was fabulous since we had just flown into a Bucharest the afternoon before. Valentin was our guide for the day. He was superb. His knowledge of Bucharest, history, and all the sights we saw was extensive. Our tour was in English and Valentin’s English was impressive. Our day was packed full of tours and amazing sights. We stopped for a reasonable, traditional Romanian lunch that was delicious. Valentin made our day extremely enjoyable and a great first day in Bucharest. I would highly recommend this tour as a perfect first-day-in-Bucharest tour.

3.00I was expecting to see more of Bucharest, but we spent A LOT of time in the car driving to outlying sites that were just not worth it. We ended up taking a FAST walking tour around Bucharest that lasted about 1.5 hours with very little info provided. I did get a tour of the People's Palace, but I would recommend NOT leaving the city for minor sites.
