Begin your experience at the sanctuary, where rescued brown bears now live in a protected natural forest. Walk along scenic paths and observe these incredible animals while learning about their rescue stories and the importance of wildlife conservation.
Afterward, continue to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. Discover the history behind this impressive medieval fortress, explore its mysterious rooms and passageways, and enjoy stunning views of the Carpathian Mountains.
This well-paced tour offers a perfect mix of nature, history, and legend in an intimate group setting.

5.00Excellent day outside Bucharest! Ionut is an excellent guide and adapts to our requests (initially excursion only with bear sanctuary and Bran Castle but we were also able to go for a walk in the city of Brasov). He also takes the time to answer our questions and explain the history of the city of Bucharest and the places we visit. I highly recommend!

5.00The tour was perfectly planned. A very nice little group. (Only 6 people) We had a great time. Our guide was unique, a very likeable young man with a lot of knowledge of what he likes to share. His name is Ionut. The bus was very comfortable and well air conditioned. The tour at the bear enclosure was very good, we saw many bears and wolves. Bran Castle was also very interesting. We had a lot of time to look at everything in peace.

5.00First time in Romania and what a fantastic way to discover this beautiful country. Ionut is a great guide who is open minded and willing to make unexpected changes during the course of the day. He is of course very knowledgeable of both the history and the culture of the country. The best sanctuary was worth a visit considering how badly treated bears have been treated in the past. Altogether a great day with wonderful scenery.

5.00It was an excellent trip due to a combination of nature and history. We went to Brown Bears Sanctuary and see them in captivity. After we went to Dracula Castle where we were impressed by all the history. Our tour guide Johnny take care of everything and we had a great time.
