What a beautiful building, stunning inside and emotional as you walk around the site outside. Make sure you take advantage of the free guides who are very informative about the history of the building, our guide Christian was excellent. Allow 2 hours.

Loved the tour. So much history and information up for grabs. The tour guide was very interesting to listen to and gave us a detailed background of Judaism and its history associated with Hungary. Only wish it would have been a bit longer considering the high amount we paid for the tickets.

Impressive, to visit. We could attend a tour. Beautiful and really worth a visit. Only downside: fairly pricey admission

Very nice synagogue, sober on the outside but beautiful on the inside (wooden galleries, gilding...). Exhibition under the synagogue on the Jewish ghetto during World War II.

An extremely unusual synagogue in size and style. The tour guide (David) was very informative. The Jewish community has a lot to be proud of.

Interesting, the guide, included in the entrance fee, was very good But in my opinion the ticket price is disproportionate to what you visit and the duration of the guided tour

The largest synagogue in Europe and the second in the world. A unique and different building. The price in my opinion is excessive 33€ .You can visit for free or a guided tour that is included with the entrance. You can visit different spaces also included in the entrance. It depends on the pocket of each one, and the time you have in Budapest.
