You’ll taste everything from iconic staples like goulash and chimney cake to lesser-known local favorites, all paired with carefully selected regional wines and spirits. Each stop is a mini cultural deep-dive, guided by locals who share not just food, but the stories and traditions that make Hungary’s cuisine so rich.

With a relaxed, small group setting, this isn’t just a tour—it’s a shared culinary journey where you leave full, inspired, and maybe even with a few new friends.

IMPORTANT: 11:30 start Food tour focuses on the Centrall Market itself, while the 5:00 PM start Food tour is more of a tipsy food tour with drink tasters, but no Market Walk

We can cater towards various dietary requirements, such as vegan or gluten free but please note that we won't be able to substitutie some tasters

Sophia was a wonderful guide, who really shared her love for and knowledge of Hungarian cuisine and heritage. We ate an extraordinary amount of delicious food, and saw some lovely parts of the city.

We have just finished a tour with Birdie on our 1st evening and it was so good. She was informative but also good fun and the food and drink were great! We went to 5 different places all with traditional dishes and drinks and they were all really tasty. We would definitely recommend.

Pretty basic tour. Although it is paired with some drinks (a 1/2 a beer with the sausages, one little shot with the Langos and wine with the Goulash(last stop) When I asked if I could buy a beer to enjoy with one of the other savory dish I was asked if I could have a beer and a taste of spirit and be okay!! (literally a very small shot)…I wasn’t going to slam beers and shots I wanted to have it accompany my food. The guide wasn't very engaging. We should have had a shot of coffee with the chimmney cake. I have done many food tours this def not worth the money.

Excellent tour. We ate fed up and drank fed up. Our Birdie guide was very friendly, recommended places, food courses and other tours. Fully recommended
