Heroes' Square

Hősök tere (Hungarian pronunciation:Heroes' Square) is one of the major squares in Budapest, Hungary, noted for its iconic statue complex featuring the Seven chieftains of the Magyars and other important Hungarian national leaders, as well as the Memorial Stone of Heroes, often erroneously referred as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The square lies at the outbound end of Andrássy Avenue next to City Park (Városliget). It hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and the Műcsarnok. The square has played an important part in contemporary Hungarian history and has been a host to many political events, such as the reburial of Imre Nagy in 1989. The sculptures were made by sculptor Zala György from Lendava.

Buda Castle

Buda Castle (Hungarian: Budavári Palota, German: Burgpalast) is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest. It was first completed in 1265, but the massive Baroque palace today occupying most of the site was built between 1749 and 1769. The complex in the past was referred to as either the Royal Palace (Hungarian: Királyi-palota) or the Royal Castle (Hungarian: Királyi Vár, German: Königliche Burg). The castle now houses the Hungarian National Gallery and The Budapest History Museum.Buda Castle sits on the south tip of Castle Hill, bounded on the north by what is known as the Castle District (Várnegyed), which is famous for medieval, Baroque and Neoclassical houses, churches and public buildings. The hill is linked to Clark Ádám Square and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge by the Castle Hill Funicular. The castle is a part of the Budapest World Heritage Site, so declared in 1987.[1]

We booked this tour and nobody turned up we checked with the hotel and was told the company had ceased trading. This of course was Christmas Day and we were stunned as it really put a downer on the day.
Tour Company was a “No-Show”

No-show by Viator local tour company. Took my money, gave me a ticket, and did not show up nor did they respond to countless phone calls and emails by both me and Viator headquarters.
I will not recomment to anybody!!!

Its the worst experience ever. Nobody show up! I keep on waiting. I tried to call the number stated in the website but nobody answered. Im so dissappointed!!!!!!!

I m in a business trip in Budapest and do not really have a time to walk around. I find Luxury Tours Budapest 2 hours mercedes sightseeing trip very convenient, and the perfect fit for my needs. I have never been before in Budapest and I wished to see at least the main attractions. I have been picked up from my Hotel, bang on time. My driver name was Marko. He was very polite and spoken very good in english. But away, the car was spotless, even had wifi onboard so as a bottle of nice cold water. We vent for a spin around Budapest, Heroe's square, Buda castle, Chain Bridge, and all that jazz. I really enjoyed this trip and only can recommend it for every one, who has a tide time schedule, but really would like to see this stunning city. Thanks again!
