  Fantastic Local Tour Experience in Budapest! I recently took a guided tour in Budapest with a local guide, and it was the highlight of my trip. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about Hungarian history, and shared fascinating stories you wouldn’t find in any travel book.

  We had an amazing experience exploring Budapest with Dora Budapest Tours! We did both the city tour and a customized half-day tour, and everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our interests. Dora was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the history and charm of Budapest come alive. They were flexible with our requests and gave us enough time at each stop to soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Their passion for the city really shines through, and they made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the tour. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we came away with a deeper appreciation for this beautiful city. Highly recommend Dora to anyone visiting Budapest.

  We booked a 4-hour private tour in Budapest for 300 euros, expecting a fun and informative experience for our kids. Instead, it was disorganized, unengaging, and overpriced. The guide lacked enthusiasm, gave vague information, and failed to connect with the children. Not worth the cost—avoid!

  We had a wonderful half-day private tour by Gabor. He is an excellent tour guide; he is gentle, flexible, speaks excellent English and has a good sense of humour! He is also very knowledgeable about his city abd country and was able to answer my many questions! Another plus is that he is a safe driver! His car is very clean and comfortable! My husband has limited mobility so he designed a tour for us where we didn’t have to walk too long. From the start, communication with him was easy and he was flexible to our requirements. He gave us a great introduction to beautiful Budapest, its history, culture, people and food. This afternoon tour was the highlight of our visit! You won’t regret it if you book with Gabor! Thank you Gabor, for a great time with you! We appreciate your useful gift too!

  So we were introduced to Gabriel through this tour- I must say we were extremely happy with how things went. He was both courteous but also caring - and highly knowledgeable. Beyond just knowing everything about major spots and sharing them in a fun filled manner, he also helped us to figure out how to spend time in the city and was there to guide us over the course of time even when the tour was done. Would definitely recommend this tour and specially Gabriel, who was fantastic through the day and half we spent together. 💕☺️

  We had an absolutely amazing tour with Gabor. He turned out to be the perfect guide for us. He drove us through the hustling and bustling city with a great coolness, so that we really could relax and enjoy. His knowledge about the city, its sights and the history of Hungary was profound and entertaining at the same time. He also send us very good recommendations about where to eat/dine after we had left him. Perfect guide!

  Gabor is a very pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide! We were driven around in a clean and comfortable Mercedes Viano. Our experience in Budapest was all the more enjoyable thanks to Gabor!

  Highly recommend Gabor for tours of Budapest. Gabor is very kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, and his vehicle is very comfortable and spacious. I did a half day tour with Gabor and having already seen some of the sites around Budapest he was able to customize my tour to cover things I had not seen. Throughout the tour, he taught me a lot about the history and culture of Hungary and its people. In addition, he showed me hidden gems and things around Budapest that even many of my Hungarian friends who had lived in the city for years did not know. He very clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge with guests and meeting new people; it makes the tour experience very fun as a guest to have a guide who is not only knowledgeable but very clearly enjoys his job. Lastly, his command of the English language is excellent: he is very easy to understand and communicates complicated concepts clearly and succinctly.   Gabriel is Excellent as Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Budapest. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - he was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested.. My Dad who is 77 years old was happy with Gabriel... Thank You for the recipe books you gave us and Good Luck...
