5.00This is a fantastic private food tour. Bianka was friendly and personable. As we started our walking tour Bianka gave us some history of places we would pass along the way. We stopped for a Langos first with a local beer. Bianka shared the history of this food and how it’s evolved to restaurants. We stopped for Hungarian red sausage which was much better than the German sausage (in my opinion). The restaurant was more local than touristy which was what we were looking for. As we continued, more history of the city and on to The Strudel House. We were there to watch the pastry chef make a batch of strudels. These were the best we had while in Budapest, fresh apple, apricot, along with others fruits. There was another stop and by this time we were full !! As we said goodbye to Bianka, she was very helpful to give us suggestions on sites to visit while in Budapest.
