Welcome to Foodapest! Our brand new Evening Food Tour, designed for 2025 explores Budapest’s flavors after dark, offering a culinary experience that will make your stay in Budapest truly memorable.

This guided experience takes you through the city’s vibrant culinary scene, featuring authentic Hungarian dishes, street food, and local drinks as well.

During our tour, you get to try the classic Langos, Chimney Cake, a selection of Hungarian traditional dishes like Goulash or other seasonal meals that are selected based on the season's availability, ensuring a unique experience each night.

In our selection of over 14+ various flavors, we also take you through some of the iconic locations of the city, illuminated by the evening lights, guaranteeing sights that will take your breath away. Enjoy a journey that blends history, culture, and traditional flavors under the city's glowing lights.

Important Note: We only serve alcoholic drinks for travelers 18 years old and above.

Sophia was the best tour guide we visited so many great places ticked all the traditional food and more off our bucket list . Sophia explained all the traditions and made sense of what we were eating and drinking- this was the evening tour with all the food and wine , palinka and beer it was excellent value for money and lovely to spend an evening with a small group of likeminded people. We would highly recommend this to anyone whether alone or in a group

Sofia was very knowledgeable about the various soups and meals as well as the various desserts, wines, spirits, and beers we tasted. She advised us of the history of the food recipes, the vineyards and various breweries

The food was very delicious, the food was varied and carefully selected for us to get the best experience, and so was it. In addition, our fair guide was also full of knowledge and passed it in an interesting and funny way.

Amazing experience! Had such a great time tasting all the traditional Hungarian cuisine, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable aswell. The walking was not more than 10 minutes at a time and was very easy and pleasant.

Birdie was an incredible guide and made our Budapest food tour truly unforgettable. Wonderful and FILLING! 5 stops and amazing local eats and drinks! I can’t eat another bite. Our guide Sofia was a delight - sharing her personal experiences and lots of history and background on how the foods are made and about our surroundings. Highly recommend. Great experience.

Not only was the food beyond amazing (honestly I have plans to not only find a Hungarian cook book, but cook and bake as much as possible when I get home), Sofia was amazing!!! She was knowledgeable about the location, where the better restaurants are located, the food to best order and extremely knowledgeable of the history of the food. We will recommend this particular tour to anyone going to Budapest.
