  Unfortunately, we missed the boat as there was a huge bike ride through the city districts which meant that the police block some of the major roads. We couldn't get an uber for over thirty minutes so we couldn't get from Heroes Square, where we were staying, to the dock in time.

  Everyone on the cruise had a good time. The drinks were plentiful with several different options. We enjoyed the music and the beautiful sights along the river, especially after dark when everything was lighted. They only have a few snacks available on board, so plan accordingly.

  A great way to see the sights along the Danube. The drinks were continually on tap, plus there was beer if you wanted it. The audio was very informative, with good music in between sights. Super sight of the Parliament lit up at the end. Easy to get to from the Metro. The staff were very friendly. Very good experience.

  Experience met expectations - it was a beautiful, scenic boat ride during sunset. The staff were all professional and very accommodating. It was a nice night!

  I had 20 proseccos when I went. Definitely got my moneys worth. Great time recommend it if you’re in Budapest. 75 minutes. Good vibes. Lots of people. Good staff — told me they’ve never seen someone complete this feat.

• Forced to move seats after queueing for 45 minutes

  My friend and I booked this well in advance for a slot at 7:15. We joined the queue early at 6:30, 45 minutes early to ensure that we secured good seats as we wanted seats on the top deck by the railing for better views. We were the fourth group in the queue so therefore managed to sit in seats by the railing that we wanted. Despite this being a table of four, there were other groups of two sat at the railings as there was only one table with two seats available by the railings. However, after we had gotten settled with our first drink, one of the staff came over and told us to move into the middle as a larger group wanted our table. This was not proposed as a question, but rather telling us that we had to swap with the group of three as our table was bigger. There were multiple larger tables available on the lower decks, and surely this is the whole point of arriving early so that you can get a table of your choosing. It did not seem like there was any choice for us to move to the middle therefore we did. The staff then proceeded to break up the spare seats on larger tables so that there were more free seats after they had forced us to move. In the middle seats that we ended up being forced to sit in, there were people at either side of us, therefore we had an obstructed view which is what we did not want, hence why we arrived 45 minutes early and queued. We are both younger students, and feel that the entire reason that we specially were told to move was because of this. There were several other tables of 4 occupied by groups of two and nothing was said to them and they were not told to move. I find this incredibly unfair as the email confirmation specially said to arrive early to secure good seats, and now we are thinking why did we even bother? We arrived 45 minutes early and ended up in the middle with obstructed view at all angles because of staffs unfair requests. Would not recommend this if you are a smaller group as chances are you will be forced to move after spending your (already limited) time in the country stood in a queue to secure good seats that you do not end up getting. Very unfair.

  Good journey across the main monument of Budapest - unlimited prosecco, spritzers and beers. There is also some commentary on speakers as we pass by monuments which is good! Tour is sold as 75-90min but only lasted 60min. I'd still recommend it, it's great value.
