  A superb experience learning about Budapest history, viewing amazing street art, tasting new drinks and visiting fantastic ruin bars! Great company and lead by Lena who provided great energy and knowledge! Highly recommend this as a mixture of history and positive vibes!

  Lena packed so much information and so many incredible details and history into the tour. Even after being in the city for many days, I learned so many new things. It was such a great tour! Highly recommend.

  We chose this tour of the Ruin Bars specifically because it didn’t sound like a rowdy pub crawl. We met Lena at the ferris wheel of Budapest and immediately felt as if we were in good hands. Lena is a warm, charismatic guide who puts you at ease from the start. We didn’t realise just how much would be included in the tour, we visited lots of areas of interest but were shown much of the less obvious art and culture and learnt the meaning behind. The bars themselves were a real eye opener, we would never have known some were there had we not been with Lena. Lena’s wealth of knowledge added so much value to the tour, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and we learned so much about Budapests history. This was a thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours 6-9pm, which was the perfect amount of time. I can’t recommend this tour more highly, thank you Lena, we hope you will look after our friends who are coming in August.

  Lena was so lovely, showing us round all the good ruin bars, and some others,🤪. Learnt about some of the cultures and showing us some street art and little sculptures. Was a great evening.

  I went on a field trip to Lena's in late March and I was absolutely thrilled! We learned interesting facts about different graffiti , discovered sculptures of Mikhail Kolodka, learned more about the Jewish quarter and, of course, the fun part is the bar hopping: I finally met the frech (and fell in love) and tried a very delicious tincture of cherries. This walk (difficult to call it a tour because it was easy and relaxed, as if walking as friends, although we hadn't even met before the walk) is a great option to see the hidden pearls of Budapest , immerse yourself in his life and taste 😉

  Huge thanks to Lena for an incredible tour of Budapest! She told us fascinating stories about the city’s murals, showed us the Synagogue, led us through the ruin pubs in the Jewish Quarter, and we ended the evening with a drink at the “Drunken Cherry” bar. To say I liked it would be an understatement — it was absolutely amazing! It felt like discovering Budapest from the inside: mysterious, alluring, and full of hidden gems. Lena knows so much about this city, and it’s clear that she truly loves sharing its secrets. If you want to see Budapest from a whole new perspective, don’t miss a tour with Lena — you’ll learn so many fascinating things!

  Lena is a wonderful guide and storyteller, and in one evening we learned more than any guidebook. Interesting tour format - learned a lot about history and culture, while discovering ruin bars, tasted local drinks and food. Highly recommended!
