Key attractions of Budapest and a taste of the local Christmas fairs in 3 hours!
A lot can fit in our 3 hours long walking tour: a comprehensive sightseeing tour that is long enough to see some of the „essential" sites of Budapest.
Leaving Intercontinental Hotel we pass by the iconic Chain bridge before getting to the Christmas fair at the St. Stephen's Basilica. We grab there some mulled wine to warm up before we continue our walk to the House of Parliament.
To reach the Andrassy avenue illuminated by thousands of led lights creating a superb holiday atmosphere we take a bus from the House of Parliament.
Before arriving to the metropolitan Christmas market at Vorosmarty square we walk along Andrassy avenue where we can also step into the lobby of the Hungarian State Opera House.
This way you can combine a general sightseeing tour with the visit of the two nicest Christmas fairs to make sure you get a taste of the Hungarian holiday season.

5.00When we knew we were coming back to Budapest, we knew we needed to use Behind Budapest tours again to explore this amazing city. Once again, Adam opened up this city for us and shared it most amazing and heartfelt stories. We have been on many tours over the years, but never have we had a guide who has been so amazing and relatable. Not only giving us the history, but seemingly bringing it to life. I would HIGHLY recommend Behind Budapest Tours to anyone who wishes to fall in love with this amazing location.
