Let's hike to the highest peak in Seoul! (836 m / 2743 ft) You can really sense the seasonal changes in the mountain. We did a lot research to find the fastest trail to the peak, which is 4 hours instead of the regular 6 hours. Even though it is the most visited mountain in Seoul, hundreds get rescued from this mountain every year. Don't risk it! I will take you through the safe and sound trail. Make it easy. Delicious lunch is waiting for you after the hike (optional).

Located on the boundary of Seoul, Bukhansan national park is one of the most iconic hiking spots in Korea. With research, we, Koa & Sam, came up with the simplest route to save your precious travel time. We will only need 4 hours instead of the normal 6 hours, while still conquering the summit. The ascending part of the hike will have an elevation change of 600 meters (2,000 ft) within 2.1 km (1.3 miles) which normally takes around 100~120 minutes. You will need to be moderately fit to finish this hike. Imagine if you could go up-and-down 200 floors of stairs. The highlight, Baek-un-dae peak, will require some amount of 25~45 degree-angle climbing, always aided by ropes. If you have a fear of heights, this 20~30 minute part can be avoided by having a break.

Hiking poles can rented out (at a cost). The poles are not really necessary unless you have bad knees. IT CAN ONLY BE RENTED OUT if informed in advance.
(Optional. Paid by individuals. 9,000~15,000 KRW) After the hike, we will eat at a place specializing in tofu dishes. They make everything from scratch. They have meat too! (Vegan/vegetarian friendly)

5.00Hard hike? Yes! Worth it? Yes! Views? stunning! Tour Guide? If I could give Jiyoung more than 5 stars I would. I was a little hesitant in originally booking the hike. I don’t regret it. Yes it was hard. But the moment you get to the top, just wow! Jiyoung was a fabulous guide I am so grateful to have met her! She’s welcoming, got to know everyone on the hike and laughed with us all. She even bought some tea And snacks which we all shared at the summit. I joined for lunch afterwards which was delicious! Thank you Jiyoung for a fabulous hike 💕

5.00Totally worth it! Jiyong was such a kind and fun guide, explaining everything, never left anyone behind. She gave us the best tracks, we even had tea and rice crackers at the summit^^ Afterwards, we went to eat a delicious dubu kimchi and bindaetteok with makgeolli. Nice way to experience another Seoul

5.00I had an amazing time on this hiking tour! The views were stunning, and the whole experience was so much fun. Our guide, Dajeong, was incredibly friendly, informative, and made the tour even more enjoyable with her positive energy. After the hike, we enjoyed a delicious lunch that was the perfect way to wrap up the trip. I truly had a great time ,definitely worth recommending! Thanks to Dajeong 😊

5.00Was a nice experience, especially as a solo traveller. Dajeong was our guide, she was super nice and was easy to talk to; with recommendations for lunch! She was also in touch beforehand, which might be useful if you had any questions about the city also. The hike is straightforward, and we were able to take it at our own pace, so should be accessible to most! The views throughout and at the top are definitely with it.

5.00Overall a great tour! Dajeong was super friendly and made the experience super easy. I was in a group with 2 others and it was the perfect number. The hike itself isn’t too difficult until the very top when you climb the ropes but you have plenty of breaks to make it an enjoyable experience. I would recommend to do this tour, it’s a great way to see really cool views of Seoul while having someone to show you the way!

5.00Glorious day for hiking up that stunning mountain, made even more enjoyable by Daejong’s friendly greeting and relaxed and accommodating style, and two fellow hikers from the UK and Ireland. Spectacular views, lively conversation, obligatory summit snaps, and then down the mountain for a delicious lunch at Daejong’s recommended restaurant. A perfect day - thank you Daejon, would highly recommend to any prospective climbers, this is the way to go!

5.00This was epic! Look up Baegundae Peak on AllTrails or something to see the details, it's pretty steep :3 Sam was a LOVELY guide, the lunch he invited us to was absolutely amazing too. Even though it was extremely cloudy and we had on views, I loved it. Can't recommend enough!!!
